I mean no disrespect. I am simply very perplexed.

--Tyler's P.O.V--
"Tyler, honey, you are going to be late!"
I sighed, heavily, unlocking the bathroom door and stepping out into the hallway. "I'm almost ready, Mom! Give me a minute!"
I hurried into my room, grabbing my backpack and slipping my skeleton hoodie over my body before vaulting down the staircase and into the kitchen where all my siblings were eating breakfast.
"Who is entered in your phone as "pretty weeper?" Zack asked, glancing down at my phone in his hands. "You have like three text messages from them."
All my family's eyes turned on me and a blush found its way onto my normally pale cheeks. I snatched my phone away from my younger brother, shoving it into my pocket.
"I've noticed that Tyler has been hanging out with some girl around school lately," Madison remarked, finishing off her cereal.
"I think her name is Kiva," Zack added. "I don't know her last name though."
My mother looked up in surprise. "Is Kiva the girl that toured you around the school? She seems like a really nice girl."
"She is," I mumbled under my breath.
"Aw, Tyler likes her and he's only been at this school for two months," Jay commented.
"Hey!" I said. "You aren't even old enough to be in this conversation!"
"You should invite her over today, Tyler!" My mother exclaimed. "You need help with science and this girl must have good grades to be able to skip her classes and give you a tour on your first day. Maybe she could tutor you?"
I was a bit apprehensive about having Kiva come over to my house even if it was for tutoring. I had three younger siblings and parents that lived for absolutely embarrassing me. Considering the fact that my whole family thought I had a crush on her, the teasing would probably get worse.
I knew Kiva would love to tutor me without a doubt, but I just didn't know if I was ready for her to be introduced to my household. She didn't know any of my siblings and I had only seen her brother in the hallways during passing periods. Our family lives were pretty much private.
"Do I really have to ask her?" I questioned. "It would take time away from me practicing basketball."
My mother nodded. "Tyler, yes, I want you to ask her. You need to get that science grade up or you won't even by eligible to make the basketball team."
I sighed. "Fine, I'll ask her at school today, but she might not be able to, so don't get your hopes up." My head turned to look at the clock on the stove and gestured for all my siblings to get up out of their chairs. "Let's go, guys. We have ten minutes before the bell rings."
"He thinks just because he's the oldest he can tell us what to do," Jay mumbled to Madison.
I snorted. "And you think you can disobey me just because you are younger. Now, get your butt up and move it."
