Chapter 31




Custer's pov




Harry got in the drivers seat and I sat in the passengers seat. In Britain they drive on the opposite side from America so it's quite strange for me.

"Nervous?" Harry asks

I guess me constantly twisting my rings around my fingers gave away how nervous I am. I am so nervous to meet Harry's family because I know they mean the world to him.

"Yes" I respond finally

"Don't be. They'll love you like I love you" he says reaching for my hand.

He kisses my hand and rests our connected hands on the console.

I decide to look at my phone to take my mind off things. I reach for my bag, disconnecting Harry's and my hands.

I grab my phone out of my bag only to realize that I get absolutely no cell service here in the UK.

"No cell service" I frown looking at Harry

"Here use my phone. It works here in the UK and so does the boys if you wanted to text Kennedi using Niall's number" Harry says reading my mind.

"Thanks boo" I say leaning over the console and giving Harry a kiss on his cheek.

"Pull your shirt up" Harry demands.

I look down and from me leaning over my shirt has fallen a bit low.

"Oops" I say pulling it up.

I think to myself thank goodness no other male was nearby or else Harry would lose his marbles.

He stuffs his hand in his pocket and hands me his iPhone.

I thank him and immediately send Niall a text.



To: Niall

Hey Niall this is for Kennedi from Custer! Text me Kennedi!



I send my text and take some silly selfies.

"Selfies really?" Harry says chuckling

"Yes. Really." I say

Harry pulls into a lovely home with one of the hugest landscaping. It's so beautiful. A huge home.

"Wow" is all I manage to say.

"Ready to go in?" Harry asks

"Umm sure" I say twisting the rings around my fingers making Harry laugh again.

He opens his door and walks around to my side. I pick up my bag and Harry walks to the trunk. He pulls out the two suitcases and lifts them both to the door. I trail behind him gripping his phone tightly in my hand because I'm so nervous.

Harry shoots me a cheeky smile and rings the door bell.

Anne opens the door and screams loudly when she sees us. She throws her arms around Harry and starts crying. She pulls away from him and looks at me. Without hesitating she throws her arms around me.

"Mum, that's Custer" Harry says

She stops hugging me and grabs my hand.

"I have lots to show you inside. Including Harry's baby pictures!!" She says full of excitement

"I can't wait to see those!!" I say

"Oh Harry I love her already. Lets go inside we have lots of family for you to meet!" Anne says

"Let's go!!" I say making Harry smile.









Niall's pov



"Kennedi there's a text from Custer for you" I say

"Okay" she says

We just got to the hotel. I know Custer was not expecting to stay with Harry's family but I'm glad with all this Liam and Harry drama. Harry is whipped. Absolutely whipped. He is becoming so over protective of Custer and I don't want him to annoy her. I decide to stay quite because this jet lag is killing me.

"NIALLLL" Louis yells running into the room.

"Yeah?" I say

"We are going to Harry's house!!" Louis says.

"WHAT?!" I yell

"I want to know what is going on between Liam and Harry and Liam won't tell me. I know which part of the house Harry and Custer are staying and there's a chimney so we can listen from the roof" Louis explains

"The roof!?" I yell

"Yes the roof now tell Kennedi we are going to the grocery store and let's go. You can drive" Louis says

"Okay" I say getting up to find Kennedi













Custer's pov





"Dinners ready" Anne yells from the kitchen.

Harry and I are currently unpacking and just laying around in Harry's old room in Anne's house. It is such a big room and has a lovely chimney so its nice when its cold. It's not cold so we won't be using it while we are here.

"Let's go for dinner" I tell Harry.

He smiles and nods and grabs my hand, leading me down the hall into the kitchen.

"I'm so happy you guys are staying here!" Anne says clapping her hands together.

"Custer that's Robin my step father and Gemma my sister" Harry says pointing to the two. Gemma is so beautiful.

"Nice to meet you" I say shaking Robins hand and hugging Gemma.





After dinner Harry and I decide to go back to the room and be lazy because of the jet lag.

Harry and I were in deep conversation when something falls down the chimney. I walk across the room and pick up what's laying in the firewood. It's an iPhone. I click on the center button and its a picture of Niall and Kennedi on the lock screen. It's Niall's phone.

"It's Niall's phone. I assume he's on the roof spying?" I say to Harry.

"What?" Harry spits out clearly shocked.

"Why would Niall's phone fall down your chimney?" I ask

"He must be on the roof? Only Louis knows." Harry stops himself before he finishes his sentence.

"They're on the roof" I gasp

"Let's go out and check" Harry says as we walk to the front door. We stand outside and look at the chimney and sure enough Niall and Louis are camped up there.

"HEY LOUIS AND NIALL" I yell on the top of my lungs

"HEY CUSTER" Louis yells.

"GET OFF THE ROOF MATES" Harry yells.

"OKAY" Louis yells. He and Niall struggle to come down and eventually they both fall off, landing on each other.

"Let's go inside and talk about this boys" I say to them.

"No I want them to leave. You are ruining our trip. We will see you at Gemma's engagement party. Now leave and don't come back" Harry says harshly

"Okay Granny" Louis snaps.

I give Louis and Niall hugs before they leave which only frustrates Harry. He walks back inside and I follow him. When I shut the door he walks to the fridge and grabs a beer. He comes back to where I'm standing and grabs my hand and pulls me to the room. Once we are inside he pulls his hand from mine and lays on the bed and motions for me to sit next to him. He's in a really bad mood.

I decide to go talk to Anne because I don't want us to fight because everything will piss him off because of the mood he's in.

"I'm going to go talk to your mom if that's okay" I say

"Ok" he says and I can't tell if he's upset about my decision. I walk out the room to go to Anne's room. I knock on the door and wait for her to open it.
