Chapter 34

Custer's pov

I wake up the next morning remembering today is Gemma's engagement party. I'm very excited because I finally get to see the boys and Kennedi. I've missed them even though I've only been away from them for a few days.

I let Harry sleep and I crawl off the bed quietly. I walk downstairs and Anne is standing next to the counter with a coffee mug in her hand.

"Good morning" I say smiling

"Hi sweety. I'm very sorry about last night. I feel awful about it" Anne apologizes

"It's okay. I'm just not used to that" I say

"Are you sure your okay?" Anne says

"Yeah. Positive. How was the rest of your night?" I ask

"We decided to leave after you left. It wasn't much fun afterwards." Anne says

"Oh" Is all I manage to say

"Yeah. What did Harry say about the outfit?!" Anne says clearly eager

"When we got home he told me I won't be wearing this again" I said laughing as Anne bursts out laughing

"What's so funny?" Harry says joining us in the kitchen.

"Nothing" Anne says still laughing

"What" Harry says

I decide to ignore his desperation and I pour me some coffee even though I don't drink coffee. It's all I can spot so I decided to try it anyway.

I take a sip and its nasty in my opinion. I continue to drink it so it doesn't go to waste and Anne did make it.

"What time is the party?" Harry asks

"4" Anne responds

I excuse myself for a shower and I head back to the room. I grab a pair of burgundy skinny jeans and a cream sweater. I take a quick shower and change. I decide to braid my wet hair. Once I'm done getting dressed and doing my makeup I make my way back downstairs.

"You look nice" Harry says

"Because I'm not dressed like last night?" I ask just to taunt him.

"Yes and I like those pants" he says

"Mhmm" I take a seat next to him on the couch.

"Who ya texting?" I ask

"Niall. Kennedi and him are going to a park and then the bridal shower" he says

"Oh that sounds fun" I say

"Yeah. Was there something you wanted to do today?" Harry asks

"No I'm good with just hanging around here. I don't like to overwhelm myself on vacations" I say

"Okay. Want to play some scrabble?" Harry asks

"I'd love to beat you in a game of scrabble" I say

"Oh it's on" he says pulling out the box from the stand below the television.

"I won fair and square" I argue

"Did not. I won by two points!!" Harry says

"You didn't calculate my score correctly" I challenge

"I did too" he says

"LIES" I say standing up and Harry follows my lead. Without hesitating he picks me up by my legs and slings me over his shoulder. He walks to the back door and puts me down outside. He moves swiftly locking me outside by myself. Great.

"If you admit I won then you can come back in" Harry says

"Never. This is animal abuse" I say

"Then I guess you won't be coming in" Harry taunts

"It's cold out here!!" I squeal shivering

"Just say it and you can come back in" Harry says smirking.

I hate losing and I especially hate when Harry wins instead of me. I roll my eyes and walk around the house. It's so cold out here. Ugh stupid Harry. I walk to the front door and its locked. Great. I walk to the kitchen and the window is cracked. Yes. I open it and climb in. I'm now standing in the kitchen and Harry is no where in sight. I walk quietly to the living room where I last saw Harry. I walk in and I'm tackled to the floor by someone. Harry. Of course.

"Ouch" I say rubbing my head.

"What?" Harry says

"When you tackled me my head hit the wood floor quite hard" I say. He is now hovering over me on the floor.

"That's what happens when you don't listen to me" Harry smirks

"Shut it Styles" I say pushing him off me and standing up.

"It's time for the party!!!!" Anne cheers

"Yay party hardy" Harry mocks

"Yay. Lets go. I call shot gun with Anne" I say sticking my tongue out at Harry.

"Very funny. I'm sitting up front" Harry says

"Actually I am" Robin says

Harry and I both pout.

"Let's go. I want to be early" Anne says.

I grab my phone and Harry's phone and wallet and walk to the car where Harry is waiting for me in the back. This is gonna be a fun night!
