Chapter 27

Custer's pov

I walked down to the parking space the truck was parked at. There was no sign of them. I shrugged my shoulders and thought they went out to eat.

I walked to my apartment and when I was a few apartment doors away from mine I heard some noises coming from mine and the door was open. I grabbed the nearest thing in sight, which happened to be a janitors mop. I held it defensively in front of me and walked into my apartment. As soon as I turned to walk inside the door frame someone bumped into me and I knocked them out with the mop.

"Oh my gosh" I say out loud when I realize the person laying on the floor and knocked out is Harry.

I drag him inside towards the carpet by the television and let him lay there. I just knocked out my boyfriend with a janitors mop because I thought someone was robbing me. Oh geez.

I sat down on the couch and I couldn't help but look at my hopeless boyfriend laying on the floor in front of me.

Twenty minutes go by and Kennedi texts me that they are on their way back because they stopped to get food.

The more I think about it the more I realize how hungry I am. It's about 9pm and we left this morning at 6am to go camping and haven't eaten since.

When Kennedi and the four boys open the door they see me sitting on the couch and Harry dead out on the ground.

"What did you do?" Kennedi asks knowing me to well.

"I went to look for you guys and when I came back to the apartment the door was open and in self defense I hit the person with a mop and knocked them out only to realize it was my boyfriend" I say

"Wow two people in one day!" Niall says

"That's a record" Kennedi says high fiving me.

"I'm starving what did you guys bring?" I ask

"Pizza" Zayn says bringing the boxes to the table.

We all sit down and eat. After about two hours Harry finally wakes up.

He groan when he sits up and puts his hand on his head.

"Babe I'm so sorry" I say sitting next to him.

"What exactly happened?" He asks

"I thought you were a robber and knocked you out with a janitors mop" I say

"Oh" is all he says.

"Want some ice?" I ask

"Yeah" he mumbles. He's quite grouchy.

I open the freezer and grab an ice pack and hand it to Harry.

"I have to go" he says standing up.

"Okay?" I say as he just gets up and walks out the door.

"So umm that was weird?" I say looking at the rest of the boys and Kennedi.

"Yeah. Strange" Liam says.

"Very" I say

"Let's do something I'm bored" Kennedi says

"Okay! Lets go to the fall fest. It's happening tonight!" Liam says

"Okay. I wish Harry was coming" I say frowning.

"You have us. You'll be having such a good time when he texts you you'll be like whose Harry?" Louis says

"Okay. Let me get dressed." I say looking at my pjs.
