chapter 15-kyle

Standing in a circle with the whole group holding hands, marisa transports us to the city.

Its clean, the city and fresh compared to home. It smells like polished metal and fresh concret, once again this cities smells have burnt the inside of my nostrils singing my nose hairs into oblivion. We duck into an allyway to discuss the quick withdrawals and exits if we are caught.

Marisa concludes the conversation with a depressing thought "Once we do this there is no going back, i hope you guys know that right"

"Yeah we know i just wanna go home already" Matthew seems eager to get home. Unlike some of us though i would be more than happy to stay, with Marisa that is.

It toke a while to find an open entrance way with out major security to sneek past but that was the easy part. Finding what we need is going to be the hard part.

As our quiet whispers hit the walls and echoed all i could think about was Marisa, i know i shouldn't be but i dont want to leave her behind. I have a plan she may not agree with me and it may be dangerous but im willing to take the chance. Pulling Marisa off to the side into a tight room where neither of the boys can see me or her i ask "hey um look i wanted to ask if we were going to get one extra of everything, you know four of every thing instead of three"
"Um why im helping you guys get home who else are you going to take" she asks its like she has no idea what im talking about.
"Um you, who else would i want to take with me".
"Ummmm, i guess so but only if you desperately know you want to do this" her words are music to my ears. Internally thanking god right now for the amazing chance i have just been given.
"Of course i do" as her hands wrap around nmy face and she leans into a kiss i go straight for it and lock mine onto hers, like a suction cup it was hard to let go of her. As much as i want to stay and just full on make out with her i know we must keep going.
I pull her away and look deep into her fluro green eyes and peck her cheak.
"I think i love you" she says in a quiet tone so no one else can hear.
"I think i love you to" i know its a cheesy thing to say but its true, the connection i feel with her is like nothing i have ever felt before.

She leaves the room and leaves me standing there with my back and head rested on the wall. I follow her out after a few seconds and catch up to the rest of the group.

"Ok we are here this is what it looks like" Marisa says whilst holding a hologram of what the thing looks like.
"Hey whats this thing called again" Matthew asks.
"Its called a time continuum disruptor" Marisa snaps back like she is getting sick of saying it over and over again.

"I've found them" i quietly yell
"How many of these do we want" Aj asks
"We want four, we need four so every one can grab one come on" i burst out so no one else can have their say.

Walking out of the building i feel like i have accomplished something. I feel ontop of the world right now.

Once again standing in a cricle holding hands Marisa transports us back to the arcade.
"Omg that was so awesome i have so much adrenaline running through me right now that was awesome" as we all luagh i think we can all tell that Aj is so excited we dont think can hold it in anymore.
"So when will we be able to get home" Aj asks.
"Um not for a few days i have to redirect some of the wiering in them"
"That seems like alot to do will you need any help, marisa you ok" Aj seems concerned at this point "yeah im fine but nah it'll be allright i just need some quiet tomorrow, so if you guys want you can go down to the lake to wash up tomorrow"
"Oh cool thanx" Matthew is so happy to finally be able to wash, i always knew he was a neat freak.
