Openig my eyes I take in a deep breath and hold it for a while, its crisp and fresh. I have never breathed in air this pure before. I look around and the boys are slowly getting up, I do so as well.
"Hey is everyone ok, did it work" Aj screams from the other side of the arcade. I want to say no but as I look around I notice major changes in the arcade, its newer and hasn't been burnt down.
"Yes omg it did it worked, it worked guys it worked" I scream, the boys all run to the center of the arcade and almost nock eachother down in the mix of it all.
Turning around and having a look at everything that surrounds me I notice something, I notice something strange. I walk up to it and slowly stride around it. The name on the strange box thing said the name of my town 'Eternities End'.
" so this is were I lived, grew up, developed as a human and just completely had no idea about" I say to kyle as he walks up behind me and places his hand so ever gently on my shoulder.
"Yeah I guess so, but now you can come live with me and my mum im sure she'll be fine with it"
"wow really, are you sure"
"yeah Im sure" he says with compassion in his voice and a smile on his face.
"Hey guys, this, this wasnt here the last time we we're" Matthew yells. We all walk over to him and read the writing on the wall Matthew reads it out loud.
"RIP, Matthew, Kyle,Aj" we all stare in amazment and shock.
" what do you guys think this is, wait whats that" Matthew walks to another wall with more writing that has been sprayed onto it, and once again he reads out loud the writing on the wall.
"Jason was here 2k26"
"Wait no this cant be right its only 2016, do you think that, that game has sped up time here" Kyle asks Matthew
"I dunno I guess we will soon find out though" Matthew says whilst turning around to the sound of sirens, car doors opening and shutting and people yelling.
"GET ON THE GROUND NOW AND PLACE YOUR HABDS ON YOU'RE HEADS" This stong voice yells at us as we turn around in surprisment. I now guess I know how it feels to be on the other side of an arrest.
Getting on our hands and knees, we all place our hands on our heads as these men in blue suits place lower level hand cuffs on us all, to be honest these hand cuffs look and feel very suspicious, now that I think about it they look like 'sex cuffs' not gonna lie. These men drag us to our feet and roughly pull us to the cars they arrived in. We're all separated into different cars and driven to the 'police station'. The drive wasn't long but it wasn't short either. Once we are at the police station we are sat on chairs at different desks, As the men who had handcuffed us each sit infront of us all Im actully getting a little nervous.
"So young lady, I havent been able to dig anything up in your name at all can you tell me why" the young strapping man asks me, hes dark tall and looks quite attractive. He isn't built, hes got a nice smile and dreamy dark eyes.
"Ummm, ummm, yeah I was born of grid" I reply nervously.
"Ok why is that may I ask"
"My mum was running from my dad in a desperate attempt to saty alive, she had me and I was abandoned as a little girl"
"Ok wow, what a story um whats your name and how old are you" I get a little startled at this point, I dont want to tell him how old I am becuase in this world it physically impossible to be my age.
"Um im 18 and my name is Marisa" I didnt know what else to say so I just said I was as old as Kyle is.
"Ok well I guess you're free to go, I will make you a record and place you on our registered list. If you want you are welcome to wait for your friends" he says whilst taking the cuffs of my wrists.
"Thank you" I am so glad I didnt get in trouble, that would have been a really crazy interesting first impression on this worlds officers.
Its been at least two hours and the boys are still being questioned, I hope eberything is ok. Suddenly the boys are let go and realeased of their cuffs. They all come over to me and all try talking to me at the same time.
"Whow whow whow calm down one at a time" the boys all quiet down and then Aj starts talking.
"Apparently we have been missing for 10 years, im telling you that game has sped up time here"
"Ok quiet down, lets go somewhere quiet, does any of you know somewhere we can go"
"Yeah lets go to the downtown burger joint" Matthew says
"Wait hold on what do we have to discuss we're free we can finally do what we want dont you see that, we have to find our families its been like five six years, they all probably think we are all dead" kyle bursts out in anger.
"Wow you have a point, we should actully go and look for them, but where do we start". Aj questions
"Thank you, and I guess we can start where we left off, home". Kyle suggests, its a smart idea.
Starting to walk out of the station the boys and I open the massive doors and swing them open, we are all suddenly surrounded by a sworm of people screaming and crying.
"I guess you guys dont have to go looking for your families any more cuz I think they found you" I yell over the crowds attempt to steal us all away for questions. I have so many cameras and mics infront of my face im starting to feel a little faint.
"Marisa" kyle screams out in sorrow as I fall to the ground allowing myself to completely flop on the flor effortlessly.
