Steve's POV

I had been ages since I last saw Nightmare. Or at least it felt like ages. It probably wasn't that long, but with what's happening, it might as well be ages.

We really need her here. When will she finally come home?

Nightmare's POV

"Uh, h-hi.." I smiled awkwardly. Dammit, this isn't good.

"What are you doing?" He asked, a hint of annoyance and anger in his voice.

"Um, nothing. I'm just minding my own business! Maybe you should do the same." I said crossing my arms, anger bubbling up inside me.

"Oh yeah?! A little odd that we've been walking for ages and you've been following us the whole time. And you've been watching us." What? It couldn't have been that long, could it? And how did he know I was watching them? I stared at them with an unreadable look. Unsure of how to respond. I glanced over at Lydia momentarily, she seemed unfocused of the world around her. She seemed deep in thought.

"Well that's rude. Just because I take the same route to go home as you, doesn't mean you have to flip out. Geez, and then you accuse me of watching you? I'm not a flippin' stalker man, how about you calm down and we'll all get to our destinations." I snapped at him after a moment, now it was his turn to look dumbfounded. And he did it well.

"Sorry. I'm just a little moody right now. Sorry for accusing you, I'll shut up now." He said looking down at his feet. He appeared super embarrassed and like he had been slapped in the face with fish for no reason. I could tell he was blushing from embarrassment. Good. He should be sorry. If not for this, for destroying Minecraft. I couldn't help but grin as I thought about how much I just embarrassed him. Hehe, it was hilarious. I quickly shook off the humour and returned be being serious. Or as serious as I could be, at least.

"It's fine, I guess." I muttered the last part under my breath. We started walking in awkward silence. Neither of us wanting to be the one to break the ice.

"Wait! I just remembered something! Aren't you that girl I met earlier? What was your name, aha! Grace. Wasn't it?" Lydia suddenly burst out. She must've realised her outburst and put her hands behind her back.

"Um. Yes, I remember you. And yes my name is Grace. Lydia, right?" I answered after a moment. She nodded. Zack looked really confused.

"Uh, what?" He spoke out. But I wasn't really paying attention anymore. I was staring, my mouth hanging open, at the mass of policemen in front of the house..

Author's Note:

Dear readers, this is an idiots attempt at an apology.

I'm so incredibly sorry there are no words to describe it. I feel so bad for not updating for OVER 3 MONTHS! I feel terrible. I've been having the worst ever writers block and I just haven't been able to write. Plus, I only just started highschool around 6 weeks ago so I've got a lot on my "plate" at the moment. Again, I'm super sorry. And I'm sorry it was such a short chapter too. I will hopefully update more. I won't leave it 3 months again at least. But I hope you still liked this chapter.

And don't forget to;
