It's the 17th of February, not the 9th of March. Death really had a gift for making the impossible possible, which knocked the ball out of the park. I'm sitting in my car thinking, I haven't even started up the car to leave for school. I'm just thinking, how in hell am I supposed to do this? I was woken from my day dream by my phone pinging. It was Lisa.
Incoming message- Lisa!
Where are you? I have your coffee.
-Lisa
I need coffee. ASAP.I start the car up and the radio tuned in pretty fast, the radio presenter had just finished playing a song by Little Mix. Then the radio presenter started talking.
"And that was secret love song. This goes out to Hannah from D, he tells you that time is running out and you need to move fast" he laughed
Before anything else happened Kesha tick tock started to play and this is the moment I realised I am officially creped out by death and his little friends.
I pulled up to school just in time for first period which was Chemistry and thank God that Lisa was in my class so I could finally receive my coffee. And I won't be so bitchy for the rest of the day.
I rushed into the school colliding with a well-structured frame and strong shoulders. I dropped everything that I was holding and dropped to the floor in an attempt to retrieve my belongings.
I looked up slightly to be met by mysterious blue eyes which seemed to bore into my eyes as if he was seeing my darkest truth, his lips were slightly parted with a light pink shade which made his pearl teeth glow, he had messy brown hair which made him look handsome, his shoulders seemed to be relaxed and calm until he noticed my eyes fantasying over his lips. He chocked as if he was uncomfortable.
"Sorry" I stuttered looking down picking up my things, sprinting to class. Must have coffee. I sound like a monster.
I rushed into class to see mostly everyone sitting down and others gossiping, Thank God I made it before the teacher. I noticed Lisa waving the coffee, which was signalling me to join her.
Once I sat beside Lisa I snatched the coffee out of her hand and started to pour it down my throat. Ahhh coffee.
"Where were you?" Lisa asked
"Just a long morning" I smiled pulling my chemistry book and sitting next to my lab partner.
I was partnered up with Ronnie Rush; he was a football player with the brain the same size as a tick, like one you find on a dog. But it's not the insanely big ones it is one of the babies that die pretty early. Ronnie was nice sure but he didn't do any work and he kept flirting, with everyone, including our teacher.
"Morning Hannah" he spoke sitting next to me, looking up and down at my outfit
"Ronnie, how's life?" I asked sarcastically not wanting an answer
"Much better now that I have seen you in that skirt" he smiled playfully
"I feel like I have achieved something new today, because you're not staring at my breasts" I commented "spoken too soon I see"
After we were given our assignment I was surprised that Ronnie was actually helping and he was getting the work right, I may have double checked all the answers to be on the safe side but he had them all right.
"So have you been playing me or have you had an epiphany?" I asked
"I have a tutor, I wanted to surprise you" He laughed confidently
I just nodded then continued to finish my work in silence as most of the class were silent to, well except for us. I went into my bag to retrieve my notebook so I could- shit. Where the hell is my note book?
As soon as class finished I rushed Lisa to the library and onto the computer, I know certain things about the guy. I need my notebook.
"What colour eyes?" she asked calmly
"Blue eyes, brown hair, nice teeth, small lips and really nice shoulders" I spat out in one breath
Lisa did the face construction on a website and it weirdly resembled him, everything is surprising me today.
"OMG" She muttered under her breath
"What?!" I questioned nervously
"That is Nate Gilbert" she smiled rhyming "You think he is hot"
That was Nate. I never saw him and I avoided his memorial thing where everyone was putting flowers and notes, I guess I've always been stuck in my own business to even notice the people around me. Now back to the point I need to find Nate so I can have my notebook back and save his life.
"So where is he?" I asked curiously
"I think he hangs out round the back" she answered casually
"The back?" I muttered
"Oh, come on!" She spoke pulling me out of the library and into the hall "so how did you meet Mr Gilbert?"
"I ran into him this morning" I answered truthfully
"And?"
"Does there have to be an and?" I asked
"There is always an and" she replied
"And nothing" I answered
Once we got out the back we were hit in the face with the smell of cigarettes and weed, how do I even know what weed smells like? I instantly found Nate.
I approached Nate and his friends seemed to notice me before he did, but when he did. He didn't look happy.
"Hi" I managed to say
"Hi" he replied sarcastically easing an eyebrow
"Yeah um, you've got my notebook" I spoke calmly
"Do I?" He commented once again laced with sarcasm
"Yes so if you give it back to me" I snapped
He rolled his eyes and tugged his pack pack open which revealed a blue notebook with band logos tattooed all over the case.
"Thanks" I spoke trying pulling it out of his hands
"That doesn't sound sincere" he smirked
"Yeah well neither will a knee to your balls" I snapped pulling the book out of his grip and into my bag "see yah later"
I walked away, my arms looped with Lisa until we got out of sight. I am going to pass out.
