VOICES

My mind is sinking.
I'm burnt out on thinking.
The noose is too tight for me to break free,
The voices in my head won't leave me be.
Leave me be...
Leave me be...
Won't leave me be...

They speak
They scream
They plan schemes
who you ask?
The people behind the mask
What mask?
The voices in my head
Lies spread
They make me do things
They treat me like a puppet
While they pull my strings
what things they make me do ?
They put things in different views
Steal the car they say
There is no way
you will do what I say
They scream
To the extreme
oh are you scared David ?
We're your friends
We help you set trends
That's a lie please get out
I shout
I don't want to be your friend
What part of that don't you comprehend
You guys are just a burden
It will be okay the doctors say
Nothing's wrong with you today
ohh God
Help me pray
Because what's inside me is not okay
I do terrible things
They yell at me there the Kings
And I'm the peasant
And I have to follow there rules
Because I'm just a fool
Oh David it's fine do you not like us?
Don't make a fuss
You'll get used to us we love you
Even after everything you put me through
That's not love your not real
All you do is steal
I shake while tears fall
They still call
leave me alone I yell
The guards come and take me to my cell
It feels like hell
so here's a lesson
Pray for your blessings
Because life is crazy
just like my voices
I can't control
And there taking my body whole
My mind is a hole
And they took my soul
