Kissing cigarettes
Instead of you,
These meaningless dates
Don't go as planned.
I wish I could,
I wish I could kiss
You to sleep every night.
I've been asking
For a divine intervention,
One sudden way,
A change in chances,
To tie your hands in mine.
I held you in my arms,
I held you like a prayer,
And you still ask me,
Aren't you an atheist, my dear?
YOU ARE READING
Mirage.
