Tidal waves,
Had just knocked us into the whirlpool.
Back and forth, as our sail gives away.
A sinking ship.
No sign of respite.
I searched for your hand,
But you were out of sight.
The storm raged on,
The thunder crashed down,
The drowning timber.
My head started to spin,
Everything blurred out.
You started to fade away.
The waves poured in,
But I was still standing still.
My hand reaching out for you.
The storm finally hit me.
And, my opiated vision was
Finally clear.
You had taken the boat,
And sailed towards land.
I was alone in my peril, at the sea.
You had taken the picture,
Of my younger sister,
I kept in my photo-frame.
You'd return home to her.
My head stopped spinning,
But my knees finally gave in.
You would make it home, safe.
You would make a home, with her.
And, I will be alone in this storm.
Waves of deciet crushing my bones.
I would sink,
Lower,
And,
Lower,
Into the bottom of the ocean.
Copiously, seeping out of your blood.
