Usually, the New York traffic would've driven me insane, especially when I was heading to work. But for once, it didn't bother me. I was just happy to be getting back out of the house. I'd been in there for way too long.

The last few days, Raúl had been working from home since he didn't want to leave me all alone. It was sweet, but I didn't want to be the reason he couldn't work, so I was glad we both could get back out there.

The queue of cars finally started moving and I pressed my foot down onto the gas as I drove down the street.
After making a quick stop at the local coffee shop I continuously visited, I got back into my car and headed for work.

I walked into the elevator and pressed the button to get to floor five. I was excited to see my office again and to meet my co-workers. It seemed like it had been forever. The ride up to floor five was silent, except for the soft music that was playing in the background.

The elevator finally came to a halt and the doors slowly opened to reveal the office I'd missed so much. I walked out and almost immediately I heard a gasp. I turned around to be met by one of my best friends, Erin.

"Gabrielle!" She exclaimed before running over and embracing me in a tight hug.

Laughing a little, I tightly hugged her back. "It's great to see you too, Erin." I told her as we pulled back.

"How are you? How have you been?" She asked as we began making our way to our seats.

"I've been... getting through." I told her and bit my lip, before looking over at her. I hoped she wouldn't ask about why I'd been gone. I didn't feel like sharing details about it. "How about you? How's work been?"

"Boring without you!" She said and I chuckled. "But you won't believe what just came in!"

I gave her a questioning look as we stopped by my desk and I began placing my things down. "What?"

"Well, apparently the stylist who were SUPPOSED to be there caught a cold- so we got the job instead!" She exclaimed, practically jumping around.

"Erin, what job?" I asked, very confused at the moment.

"You and me have been assigned to style Panic! At The Disco for their show at Jimmy Kimmel!" She screeched.

I could feel my heart drop to my stomach. I didn't know if this was the universe practically running me over or if I was given a chance to talk to Dallon for real. Either way, I didn't want to dampen the mood since Erin was so happy about it.

"Oh my god, that's great!" I said and faked a wide smile as I hugged her again. "What day is it?"

"It's on Thursday, so in two days! Wear your best outfit." She said with a wink, before leaving me by my desk to return to her own.

I sat down in my chair with a sigh and ran a hand through my hair. I didn't know if I could stand the thought of seeing him again. Of course I wanted to, but what would I say? But then again, this was my job and I couldn't mess up. Especially not an opportunity like this.
