Chapter 3: Faceless Newcomer

The day was so uneventful and monotone, I was literally falling asleep on every class... What woke me up was, that every single time I was going to lay my head on my arms that were on top of the desk, or hold my head with both my hands in a Cinderella kind of way, my face felt like your arms after an hour of arm circles.......... Exactly.

Luke wasn't looking for me at lunch time, he went with our brothers to the cafeteria, they all got their food and then gathered outside with the school's whoreishdumbasses on the picnic tables.

I have to be honest, I wanted him to look for me... Not to fight about eating, but to feel cared for. He worries about me all the time and sometimes I find it annoying... I guess now that he is going away too is that I realize... I miss them all four...

---------------------

I took my stuff from my locker and stuffed it all inside my backpack, it was gonna be heavy, but at least I wouldn't be in the need of carrying heavy books or materials in my arms, anything could fall without me knowing about it (Yes I'm Very Clumsy....).

I picked up my backpack and headed for the school's parking lot, hoping that they were still there... But as expected, with Luke not talking to me there's no one to convince them to wait for me... So yeah, I'm left here all by myself to walk my way home, hoping I don't cross paths with any of the sluts club...

Sluts that beat me up but still sluts.

I went back inside the school to go out through the front door instead of the parking lot's gate. As I walked close to the office I saw that the door was open and I could hear voices from inside, more or less, exasperated. There was a very deep manly voice that was heard the most, followed by the principal's and another man...

Could something bad be happening??  I mean there's -to give it the benefit of the doubt- almost no one at school hence why I'm the only one walking through the most crowded hallway in mornings or afternoons... Should I listen in? Should I call 911 or something? They seem to be having a fight.... Two old men with the young woman that is our new (since the beginning of first semester) principal fighting isn't quite the scene I thought I would find going out of school... What if she needs help with those two?

I decided to stay on the bench outside the office...

If she needs help I'm here...

Ready to call 911.

Turns out it seems like the principal doesn't want to accept a new kid into our school at this time of the year, and one of the voices that I thought it was an old man because it's really deep and kind of raspy, is from the teenager whose father is trying to enroll here... So the father has a ton of money and it's trying to make the principal accept his boy -whose name I learned only two minutes after sitting down is Andy- and that's when everything went downhill because the principal feels insulted. Andy was kicked out of his other school for smoking and drinking alcohol in the parking lot, but his father swears that's not true...

I kinda feel bad for eavesdropping yet I don't want to stop... I might as well leave... Maybe they're okay?

I stood up and my water bottle fell from my backpack's side pocket, making everyone in the office to go silent. I cursed under my breath and picked up my water bottle, shoved it back on the pocket and tried to walk away as if nothing had happened.
