Not So Normal Day at Work

Hello my names Katherine Pierce I'm your average 27 year old who lives a not so normal life in a not so normal city, Gotham city is my home I've had several homes better homes but for some reason I'm drawn to this city like a white blood cell to an infection. I also worked at a not so normal job I was a psychologist at one of the most insane asylum's there is.....Arkham. 

I was walking up to my office one morning and I came to find a new file on my desk I hung up my jacket and I looked over it said CAUTION across it, I walked over and looked at the file and when I opened it I saw it was Joker. 

Katherine: Finally.

I picked up the file and walked over to the registry and I requested a session she handed me a form to sign and I said thank you and walked away. I went and grabbed my coat and I walked down the hall I ran into a few coworkers and we talked for a moment about our patients. I then continued on to my room and when I reached it I handed over an object that could be made into something sharp, I gave them my name badge and my clip board and even my access key. I opened the door and walked in I waited for a response the room was lit halfway and the other half was dark.

Joker: So...your my new Doc...eh Doc?

Katherine: Well that all depends......let's see how this session goes shall we.

I walked over sitting one end of the table I touched the table as his file popped up I then leaned back and crossed my legs.

Katherine: So lets start with introductions shall we......My name is Dr. Katherine Pierce I'll be evaluating you today then I'll be gone for a little while.

Joker: Going on  vacation Doc?

Katherine: Something like that.

Joker: Do we really need to do this?........Well if we're to introduce one another I guess it only fair to see a face with it.

He leaned forward and I saw a grim smile appear I then uncrossed  my legs and leaned on the table. I looked at him and he froze for a moment I stared back and waited for something to happen. He just continued staring at me I leaned away from the table and straightened myself I turned my head had had  puzzled look on my face.

Joker: Those....eye's....

Katherine: Excuse me Mr. Joker.....

He shook it off and went back to his smile he then laughed as I shook my head jotting down notes he tried to see and I then went back to our session.

Katherine: So..let's talk about feelings?

Joker: Feeling? your asking a man about his feelings?

Katherine: Not just any man.....but you, your supposed to be a man without feeling and personally a man like that has more feelings than others.

Joker: Doc I have no feelings on anything just opinions, which shouldn't matter to someone as pretty as those eye's....now if you want to talk about feelings I feel that those eye's show the real you see I can look at a beautiful woman with smooth skin long hair and eye's that can stop a man in his tracks.

I jotted down some notes and smiled.

Katherine: Good..we're getting somewhere.

I heard a ding and looked and my time was up I stood and closed the file and slid it to the side.

Joker: Times up already and here I was hoping to see if I can get to know you better and maybe even get to see what else your hiding.

Katherine: You know if it weren't for you being in that jacket I'd be more worried about you actually trying to get to know me better.....then again I'd love to see you try.

I walked out the door and I could've sworn I heard him say challenge accepted but I rubbed it off and went to my office I opened the file and signed off leaving my notes closing it and then I decided to go home, I left the building and one of the guards Joe I believe his name was walked me to my car always I said goodnight and drove home. I didn't have a long drive I pulled down my street and parked in the driveway I got out and carried my purse and files with me, I opened my door and I immediately went straight for the shower I needed to relax dealing with people and fixing problems luckily for me I was taking a leave of absence for a while, it was suggested considering where I worked they required for every 12 months you have to take a 6 month leave so there a cycle of us going around. 

I walked out of the bathroom after my shower and I went and made some tea I grabbed my files and I went and fished writing my evaluation on all of my clients in the past month and then I came to Joker too bad I just started with him I was actually looking forward to working with him but I guess I'll have to wait 6 months, the nice thing about the vacation is it's paid so yay for me. I put my files back in the bag and then I finished my tea and I went to bed, I went into my room and looked at my comfortable bed and I jumped in it I snuggled under my covers and fell asleep instantly.
