Worst Day

I woke up the next morning it was my last day before I was taking my vacation and I pulled up to find GCPD everywhere I pulled up to the gate and had to show my badge I was then escorted into the building after I parked and went to my office the police were everywhere.

Katherine: Can I help you?

Detective: Dr. Pierce?

Katherine: Yes?

Detective:I was informed you were taking over the Joker's case?

Katherine: Yes but how's that any of your business?

Detective: It's my business since he's gone.

I shook my head and wrap my mind around what he just said.

Katherine: Gone?....What do you mean gone?

Detective: Gone, escaped, not here.

I left my office and heading over to the com links and sure enough looking in his cell he was gone his door blown off and police looking inside. I went back to my office the detective was standing waiting for me I crossed my arms waiting to see what else he had to say.

Detective: I read in your file that your going on your 6 month leave today?

Katherine: I was after my session which I guess is not happening.

Detective: Yeah well neither is your vacation.

Katherine: Excuse me?

Detective: Yeah we can't risk you leaving as being too much of a coincidence to Joker missing.

Katherine: You can't make me stay I have no priors and I don't have a record not even a ticket, so I would love to watch you try and keep me here.

Detective: Fine but if I get any sense even a tip off that Joker was seen with you leaving the city I will make sure you your locked in this city until he's found understand?

Katherine: I don't take to threats very well especially when there from an underclass detective playing the bad cop when realistically they couldn't pull that routine very well, tell commissioner Gordon I said hello and to be expecting a call of harassment from me.

I walked out of my office to my car and drove off the premises and headed home, I'm glad I didn't have to work that cop really pissed me off. I went down my block and when I parked got out and basically ran up my stairs reaching my door opening it I reached for my light switch and hit a body instead.

Joker: Hello Doc.

I went to turn feeling a hand cover my face and I faded out, when I awoke I had a really bad headache sitting up I felt a sharp pain shoot through my head whatever happened this was not how I wanted to start my vacation. looking around more I was in a room it was dark and the windows were covered with paint I went to stand noticing I was still in my work clothes, I walked over to a door and it was locked rattling the handle it didn't budge. I looked back to where I was sitting and didn't even realize I was laying on a bag I walked over and saw that it was mine opening it to find clothes underwear and bathroom stuff for me. I decided I was going to change taking off my shirt first and then my pants, I didn't want someone walking in while I was completely undressed when I was done I folded my stuff and put back in my bag. I heard the door open and when I got up turning around I saw someone I remember seeing in my apartment before I blacked out.

Joker: Well hello Doc I'm glad you found your clothes.

Katherine: What do you want? Why am I here?

Joker: Well I remember you telling me you were leaving and I was very sad I wouldn't get to see those eye's again and 6 months is such a long time so I thought I would join you and we could get to know one another.

I looked around the room I wasn't really in the mood for games trying to figure out what I could do but I'm not really a match for him I just stood there. He walked in and closed the door he sat in a chair and crossed his legs, I went and leaned against the wall all we did was stare at one another I waited for something to happen and then he broke the silence I jumped when he stood up quickly and walked over to me.

Joker: So where are the questions Doc I'm waiting!

He started yelling and I was a little freaked .

Katherine: I'm on vacation so I'd appreciate you stop calling me Doc.

He was angry with me he slammed his hand into the wall then grabbed my arm and dragged me to the middle of the room I stopped trying to pull away turning around to punch him and he caught my arm back handing me. I fell to the floor grabbing my face that actually hurt I felt my cheek and there was a cut with blood I looked and he was wearing rings.

Joker: See what you made me do...follow my rules and you won't get hurt.

Katherine: I-don't-like- being- threatened.

I looked and he was next to me he reached for me and I pushed his hand away making him fall back he was mad and I just scooted away, then I noticed he was smiling and when he stood he came over and grabbed my arms. I was shuttering my breathing heavy he moved his face closer to mine and could smell his breathe.

Joker: It's gonna be fun having you around.

I looked into his eye's then he did something I didn't expect to happen he placed his lips on mine and stayed there for a moment, we were frozen then I did something I probably shouldn't have I opened my mouth and bit him, he pulled away and his lip was bleeding I licked it from my lip he went and smiled at me then back handed me again he licked his lip and just held my face he hit the other side this time and then I felt myself being pulled up.

Joker: Allow me to show you the bedroom.

He tugged my arm and he pulled me out the door it looked like it was a factory and I looked over the railing and I saw a couple men playing cards or watching T.v. I looked back at Joker and he swung me around and pinned me to a wall and he turned a knob and opened the door he pulled me in and pushed me on the bed then locked the door.

Joker: So this can go one of two ways you behave yourself and nothing will happen to you or you can misbehave and I'll show you what I can really do.

I sat up on the bed and looked at him then room itself I only saw one bed.

Katherine: So where am I gonna sleep?

He pointed to the bed I then looked at him.

Katherine: So then where are you gonna sleep?

He walked up to me and leaned down on the bed inches from my face.

Joker: You don't honestly think I'd leave you alone do you?

He smiled and I turned away and he grabbed my chin and kissed me again why did he keep doing that when he let go he walked out the room and came back moments later with my bags and said I could take a shower and start enjoying my vacation then he left.
