Background: Heavenly Peace is the twisted version of Hans Christian Anderson's fairytale called The Angel.
Original Plot: A child has died, and an angel is escorting him to Heaven. They wander over the earth for a while, visiting well-known places. Along the way they gather flowers to transplant into the gardens of Heaven. The angel takes the child to a poverty-stricken area where a dead field lily lies in a trash heap. The angel salvages the flower explaining that it had cheered a crippled boy before he died. The angel then reveals he was the boy, and the boy continues his journey.
Whenever a good child dies an angel of God comes down from heaven, takes the dead child in his arms, spreads out his great white wings, and flies with the child over all the places which the child had loved during their life. One day an angel had came down to earth to get Lucinda, Lucinda was a very ill little girl. Her parents knew that sadly she wouldn't live, later on Lucinda did eventually pass on and the angel had came and retrieved her. "Where are you taking me?" She asked the angel. "I need to show you something." The angel told her.
The angel took her hand and they continued to soar through the sky. The angel had stopped flying and they landed on the street of a neighborhood. Lucinda looked around the neighborhood, she saw people lying down on the ground near the street. Some people were huddled in small packaging boxes, some shivered as they tried pulled their old dirty shawls over their shoulders. "Why are you showing me this?" She asked the angel.
"I believe you are a pure and innocent soul that can help me bring peace to the people here on earth." The angel answered. "But i am no angel." She had told the angel. "You do not have to be an angel to bring good to this world. Your time will come though, you will eventually become an angel." The angel had told her "But what can i bring to this world, i have nothing to give."Lucinda had admitted.
"You do have more potential then you know, Lucinda." The angel had told her. "Tell me angel, what is your true name?" She asked the angel. "The time hasn't come for that to be revealed yet, my child." The angel answered. "Can i at least see my family?" Lucinda asked the angel. "Yes child, soon." The Angel answered.
"Soon?" Lucinda asked disappointingly. "Soon. I'm sorry to say this but the the time hasn't come for you to see them again." The angel answered sadly. "What can i do to help these people?" She asked The angel again. "You can lift their spirits, give them peace and hope." The Angel answered. The angel seemed to mean what he had said.
Lucinda looked at the people once more, she always wished she could help people like them. For some reason, she seemed unable to do that when she was alive. Now here she was, in her afterlife standing in the presence of an angel. An Angel who was giving her the chance to do one of the many things she never accomplished in life. A tear ran down Lucinda's face and dropped to the ground.
The ground underneath her began to glow at the drop of her tear. She looked at the angel next to her. His aura was a bright light and somehow he seemed to be Lucinda's age but yet sounded wise before his years. The angel was once a human, just like Lucinda herself. A sudden epiphany had hit Lucinda and she suddenly knew how she was going to help the people.
The Angel looked at Lucinda, as if he knew what she was thinking. He smiled brightly at her before her said anything. "Do you realize what you have to do now?" The angel asked her. Then Lucinda took his hand. "I need to show them that they haven't been forgotten." Lucinda answered The Angel's question.
"You also need to make their families see what's really happening. They need to know that these people that are in their families need them. Especially in this time of need." The Angel added on. Lucinda smiled back at the angel and tells him "Let's began our journey."
