Rant request: Types of selfies~11/4/6

Wow! I haven't updated in like FOREVER!!! Anyway, my good friend diksha2002 requested this rant quite a while back and now I'm gonna do it. Also as a l'l treat..wait l'l omg that sounds so cool. OKAY BACK TO BUSINESS. Business? Idek? FOCUS VIDISHA *puts on Ariana grande voice* FOCUS ON THAT F F FOCUS ON THAT .. focus on meeeee

Oh god what am I doing. Right. As an extra thing, I will also be writing what these selfies really mean as well. Why you may ask? BECAUSE I CAN. What's wrong with me today? Idk. Okay back to what I was meant to be doing.

Type 1: #Squadgoaalsssss
Description: The cute selfies that are taken in friendship groups whilst going out to parties or on trips to cool places
What these selfies really mean: Hey look at me having a great time with my friends!! I am such a happy person who is happy all the time and you should hang out with more often to get selfies like this xP
My comment: These are seriously my favourite type of selfies because they look so cute!!!!! But in EVERY SINGLE large group selfie there's ALWAYS that one person who ruins it because they either aren't looking the right way, or their eyes are closed, or they weren't ready. BUT THEY RUINED IT OKAY.

Type 2: Mirror Selfies
Description: Selfies taken in the mirror to show your whole body
What they really mean: This outfit just looks so amazing on me right now and I look so nice. I'm about to go to a huge party and turn a lot of heads with this outfit okay so whilst you are at home with nothing to do, I'm having an awesome time.
My comment:
Mirror selfies are quite cool I guess but it irritates me SO MUCH (Yashvi4879 ) knows what I'm talking about here; when someone takes a picture with flash and you can't see ANYTHING clearly. Like I can barely make out what they are wearing and their face looks like the sun coz it's so bright!! ITS SO FREAKIN ANNOYING!!!!!!

Type 3: 'The populars'
Description: Selfie made to look like the popular squad. Usually consists of pouting and making fingers in a weird peace sign.
What they really mean: OMG IM SO PRETTY!!!!!! I look so pretty and hot and attractive in this picture! Wow this light coming from this direction and this hair flip thingy uggh perfection!!!! My lips lopsided and looking like they are sucking lemons coz that's what people do these days. And I'm also going to poke my fingers like this because I don't know what else to do 😂

My comment: No one should ever be made to feel like they have to look a certain way. Poking your fingers in weird ways and sticking out your lips doesn't make you look pretty. It's about what's inside, what you are like as a person. I know LOTS of you will be offended by what I've said and to be perfectly honest with you...I used to do this too 😂. Yes call me a hypocrite or whatever else you like but you should never feel that you need to look a certain way to look 'cool'. A cute grin, smirk or smile looks perfect. This selfies suits some people...but others not so much. I honestly am jealous of anyone that looks nice in their selfies but just be yourself...I never look perfect in my pictures and I don't want to look that way because it makes me feel insecure and uncomfortable. But if that's what makes you feel comfortable, then be my guest to go take more selfies ☺️

But sometimes..... People go a bit over the top.....and the pouting looks a bit.......ew......
