Chapter 6

We walked down the boulevard which was so silent that I could hear the sound of my sneakers as it came in contact with the damp floor. I knew I would be in huge trouble when I get home though, my family must be very worried right now!

"Hey, what did you say your name was?"

"I didn't,"

I was definitely not going to play it cool with a total stranger.

"Well, I'm Austin,"

"Nice meeting you, Austin," I smiled subtly

"What should I call you then, miss anonymous?” He asked sarcastically

"Yeah, I don't mind,"

He chuckled "Fine then,missy,"

We continued walking silently, when he suddenly came to a halt.

"What?"

"Nothing, just checking if I've got my car keys,"

I have no idea why I panicked a little when he said that, all I knew was that I'm definitely not feeling safe around this guy. I was beginning to feel uncomfortable, so I increased the gap between us. I looked around and still saw no one in the dark street, I felt more and more creeped out by the minute. Despite the overwhelming urge to just run away from the stranger, I just knew it was not an option.

"Umm are we close yet?"

"Yeah, about five more minutes of walking left"

I continued dragging my now tired legs as I felt my head throb. I tried rubbing my temples to get rid of the headache it didn't help though, it just got worse and I felt my vision start to dim. Afterwards I had no idea what happened , I simply lost awareness of my surroundings.

                                                                                  *********

I woke up on a soft bed and looked around trying to become familiar with the place. Apparently I was in some kind of messy room there were two shirts along with a pair of jeans tossed on the floor. It had a desk with books scattered all over and a wooden wardrobe with one of its doors half open giving a view of the poorly folded shirts inside.

Oh God! Where am I? I knew I shouldn't have trusted this stranger guy!

I got up the bed and walked cautiously around the house.

"You woke up!" Austin exclaimed with a broad smile on his face

"I knew you couldn't be trusted, if you don't let me out I'll call the cops right now!" I gushed

"Hey, chill. You should thank me; you passed out so I brought you here."

"Ohh, I thought that you… never mind," I waved my hand off.

He laughed so hard that he ended up falling from the sofa he was sitting on.

"You thought that I kidnapped you," he continued to laugh.

"You're a paranoid person you know." He proclaimed, and then he crawled up on the sofa again.

I scowled "That's not true,"

"Prove it then!"

I folded my arms across my chest, feeling slightly defensive "and how am I suppo-"

"Tell me what your name is," I noticed a lopsided smile form across his face.

I huffed "Fine, its Kelly,"
