Sorry for the long wait!! Really! Exams nearing but holidays now so ^~^
"Alanna, why are we here?" Katie asked, frightened. "Kent is going to pull over anytime soon, even if we kinda outrun him for a moment." Alanna and Aston both got down- Aston to fill the tank and Alanna to probably comfort Katie. The door opened and Alanna opened her arms, expecting a wide hug. Katie didn't hesitate.
"You trust us, gawds, do you Kate?" Alanna smiled, ruffling her hair. "Yes." Katie murmured in the tight embrace. "All right champ, lets head over to the shop." Katie shivered a little as her and her sister made their way to the dark shop.
"I think it's closed...lets just forget about it.." Katie mumbled. "Kate, don't worry." Her sister blew an exasperated sigh but Katie sure as hell didn't miss the 'closed' sign. However, she did trust her siblings, especially her sister. Alanna pushed the door open with no problem though. The store owner must be lazy to not lock the door. I mean what if some bad guys just barge in?
A guy was seated behind the counter, legs propped up on the counter table. He looked about 18 and was typing away on his phone. Alanna cleared her throat loudly and the guy looked up. "Whoa there pretty, I'm pretty sure it said the store was closed." Katie could feel Alanna tensing up. "I'm sure my sister has a good reason to budge you lazy." Katie snapped. The guy looked surprised at her words, though of course, guys, on what Katie learned from Aston, doesn't backdown and wants to be known for good reputation. "Nah." He said, denying obviously. Well, at least those legs were put down. What would the boss think seeing his employee with his legs on the counter?
"Don't get your tail up in a twist little girl." The guy laughed. Katie was fuming, thinking of a good comeback. Seems too matured for her but everything was different for her of course. A good slam on the countertop startled the man and Katie. "Excuse me Mister, or should I say Liam." Alanna snapped. The name tag on that guy's shirt was still readable, so clever Alanna obviously got it from there. "No one messes with my sister. No one. Now I need some help. A scuffle is coming, and my stepfather is gonna be here bustin' heads like a madman." She glanced at Katie for a while, which surprised her. Then she started whispering to Liam. Katie frowned. She didn't like not being let on a secret.
"Got it." Was all Katie could hear after the hushed and quick whispering. "Hey what's goin on???" Before she could say anymore, Liam had scooped her up. "Where the hell are you bringing me?" She was hating this guy more. Why won't Alanna stop him?! "Ally! This guy is kidnapping me!" She screamed, hitting his chest. Her sister disappeared from her view as they ventured deeper into the back of the store.
"I hate you." Katie growled at Liam, who just put her down and opened a door. "It's your sister's plan. Don't hate me." He shrugged, pushing Katie in. Katie sat on the floor, seeing boxes stacked around. It was dark and except for a too high and too small window, there was no escape. Katie sighed angrily. Evil world.
