It was 9 years later and Katie couldn't have been any happier. She was kneeling in front of her sister's gravestone, laying down a bundle of flowers and watering the few others that remained rather healthy. "I miss you Ally." she said aloud to herself. Nobody was in the graveyard, only the misty dreary air graveyards have and the other grave stones. It was the afternoon, and Katie thanked that no bats were fluttering around.
"I was taken in by the Andersons. Liam's dad, ya know. Things had been going thankfully uphill, and I've been unbelievably accepted to Suffolk University to study law. I'm so excited!" Katie smiled as she thought of how stressed and snappy she was as she was studying hard to get good results. She knew Harvard was out of option, she didn't study much in her childhood anyway.
"I want to be a lawyer because I want to stop those bad guys out there. I want the world to be in peace. Yours and Aston's death really was a big impact in my life."
Katie allowed herself to be in memory lane again. After all these years, Katie had finally accepted her two loved ones would not be coming back and that the past was the past. That allowed her to constantly go down memory lane without tearing up.
Kent was put away for life in a cell with very high security, eyes on Kent's every move. Graham was put around 20 years in jail for assisting in kidnap and thieving, as well as drug dealing, in which he had dumbly followed Jack. Jack was also put in prison for life, for murdering his one year old daughter and his wife, assisting in this kidnap and thieving. Katie considered that they had been given a rather lenient sentence rather than death penalty. However, that was not what Katie would want either. Killing Kent or his kidnappers wouldn't make her feel comfortable, in fact, she would feel upset.
She remembered when the words "It is unfortunate to report that Aston, Alanna and Liam did not make it." come out of Doctor Thames's mouth. Her heart had felt crushed and she couldn't breathe. Oh, and she was admitted for shock.
The funeral was heartbreaking too. Katie was crying so hard, she remembered. And her family was hugging her and soothing that things were going to be fine and that the three were at a better place.
It took Katie near 3 months to recover over the tragedy, 3 more to comprehend fully Aston, Alanna and Liam were dead and she would never see them again, and nearly 2years to allow herself to go down memory lane. She took a long time to recover, definitely longer than Lewis, though deeply saddened, still recovered quickly. Quicker anyway.
Her family had been supportive all along. She knew they were impatient, but no one voiced the thought out or rushed her.
Katie ran her fingers over the stony gravestone. She traced the words, 'Sister, Heroine, Friend, Another Angel in the World, Remembered always.' The media were aware of the three deceased acts as heroic so either had heroine and heroes in it. Katie and Lewis wanted exactly that. It was the best.
"Wow Al, that makes me older than you are huh, now." Katie's phone vibrated and she slipped the IPhone out. She smiled at Ian's text and quickly typed out 'Sure, see ya there. Love ya.'
"Oh yea, did I mention I had a boyfriend? His name is Ian and he is an absolutely amazing boy. His really nice and honest, and I doubt he'll ever hurt me."
Katie hummed a tune her mom taught her and traced the flowers engraved on the stone.
"Lewis's finally settled with a beautiful girl who could keep him in check. Her name is Leah. Brunette, with a fancy with braids. Seriously, that dork nearly landed himself in juvenile! It was pure luck the offender admitted he was the stealer in the last minute, trembling at the thought of prison and death."
"You know, I wished you could answer me, and I could see your face, fresh not decayed. You were so pretty, boys would chase you. Especially Grayson. And Scott. Seriously, the two have such a really big obsession over pretty girls it's hilarious. Grayson's into blondes, Scott into redheads and brunettes. I personally find them disgusting but hey, its their life. They would eventually settle down with a girl matching their wits, and they would have to beg for the girl."
"I've grown so much hadn't I?" Katie sighed, sitting down beside the headstone, staring at the grey skies. It was into Autumn, and the leaves in their vivid red, orange and gold colours were a really amazing sight.
"Look at me, I'm talking about romance. I never actually thought that would happen."
Katie's phone vibrated again and then changed to Applause by Lady Gaga, her ringtone. Someone was calling her but Katie ignored it.
The first drops of rain started to drop and Katie smiled. "I guess I'll have to go. I'm booked on a date with Ian. Make it double date, since Lewis and Leah are coming too. But I just wanted to tell you something sis. Something you always hear, but I'll never ever stop saying it before I leave you."
"I kept my last promise."

YEAY HIP HIP HURRAH! Last Promise is officially finished! Now I can start writing on my new book, I think should be named Florence Academy for Actors and Actresses. Or something better, I dunno yet. I got the base idea, and all it needs is more action and plot twists. I might be posting it soon, so keep an eye!
And yea, more time to write Demigod One-shots too!
Please, do Vote, Fan and Comment if you like this story! And check out my profile too. I am seriously happy this made it to 100+ reads. After all, I started off this story with no targets and ends and hoping I'll at least get 50 readers. And a vote in the least.
I really enjoyed writing this story. It was like looking through a nine-year-old. I'm sorry if you think that I made Katie and Lewis a little bit too matured. But I'm used to reading teen fiction, and so writing teen books would naturally be easier.
Writing through a girl's thoughts at such a young age means that I have to limit myself and not allow Katie and Lewis to kiss or go skipping to the sunset. Ya know. Is any of you disappointed they didn't date when they were older...? Well, they are siblings. Partial.
Finally, thank you for reading this. You voted, or even if you stayed and read, until the end or just the first few chapters, thank you.
There's school tomorrow so I have to say bye. And before you think I'm getting seriously long winded/ emotional/ crazy I'd better say Bye. Bye!!!
