Mary's Pride

The plan

Brianna , Dekka , Lana , Quinn, Edilio and Roger were gathered in Mary's living room . They were awaiting her instructions . Sam looked over at Mary and nodded . She stood up and all stopped talking immediately.
" Err okay .Thanks for being here ." Mary said shakily . "As Brianna may have told you , Taylor has taken John to the lake . We need you all. This is gonna be dangerous so we need people alert at all times . We need a few leaders and someone to bring the rear up ." Mary explained .
" I would like to volunteer as well" A voice called out.
"Who's there ?" Sam asked wearily . Mary was now starting to panic as she as she made her way towards Sam . From the shadows of the house came a figure . It was Orc .

"Orc what are you doing ? You can't be here . Everyone thinks you're dead !" Sam replied as Mary shook terrified behind Sam .
"Oh Drake decided to let me live."Orc replied as gave a look at Mary .
" Well if we find out you're working for Caine or drake we'll beat the shit out of you ." Lana said calmly .
"Lana ! Little kids !" Mary shot back .
"Oh right sorry !"
"Oh I'm not anymore they practically hate me." Orc retorted . Little did they know .

Taylor and John had camped out for the night , halfway between Perdido Beach and the lake . Taylor had woken John up . John staggered along . His face was bruised , his clothes were all torn . It was clear that Taylor wasn't interested in how he looked ,she just wanted to get him there in one piece.
"How much further ?" John moaned .
" Not a lot , almost there !" Taylor exclaimed . Sure enough , there it was , the lake . It was about twice the size of Perdido beach .
"Well where is this person ? " John asked suspiciously .
"Over there ." Taylor replied , pointing to the other side of the lake . There he was with one hand one whip .
"Hey Drake."
Drake Merwin was alive .

Sam , Mary , Little Pete ,Lana ,Dekka , Edilio , Roger , Brianna ,Quinn and Orc were walking through the square , when Mary yelled ." What is it ?" Quinn asked . The thing was that Mary could see the future . No-one except Sam and John knew about this . As soon as Sam had heard Mary yell he was there. " John is in danger ." Mary whispered in Sam's ear .
"What? How?" Sam replied .
Mary only said one word ,"Drake," ten she passed out .

Caine and Diana were also making their way towards the lake in a different direction from Sam's. They didn't want Sam to suspect them .
"Caine , when we get to the lake ,be quiet unless one of them freaks decides to attack ." Diana said calmly .
"What about Mary ?" Caine asked . Diana froze in fear . He knows .Of course he does .
"What about her ?" Diana retorted .
"She must have a power . Come on Diana !" Caine grew angry as he grabbed her .
"Ok ok . She's a two bar . She can see the future good or bad ." Diana explained .
"Perfect . Does any one else apart from Sam and her little brother know ?" Sam asked .
"No I don't think so ." Diana said as they made their way towards the lake .

"So Taylor . What do we have here then ?" Drake teased .
"It's John . Mary's brother ." John replied . He wasn't sure if Drake had changed or not . John and Mary had only one encounter with drake last year at the day care . It was terrifying for them . John knew that when dealing with a psychopath like drake you have to keep calm . One wrong move and John will be gone .
"Well where is she then ?"Drake spat at John .
"Where's who?" John retorted , still keeping calm .
"You know . Don't you ?" Taylor stepped in and started circling around John .
"Know what ?" John cried his voice rising .( keep calm ) he thought .
"You know what your sister can do ." Drake said slowly unraveling his whip .
"No I don't . The only one who knows that Mary has a power is Sam -". Shit ! He thought . He'd spoke too soon .
"Good boy ." Drake taunted .
" I didn't mean it ! John wailed .
"Oh so I won't mean this ." Drake replied , as his whip lashed across Johns back as he screamed .
"Good ." Taylor laughed .
"Now let's go and get Mary Terrafino . "

Sam was helping Mary up . Quinn noticed so decided to push Sam into Mary ."Dude !" That was not funny!" Sam said annoyed .
"Oh come on . We know that you and Mary are together ." Quinn replied . Sam looked at Mary for a moment , then without warning they kissed . Mary felt a sensation of warmth enter her body . The kiss lasted about a minute . They were still looking at each other when Lana cried ," Look . I see the lake ." Mary and Sam both walked forward holding hands . After scanning the area Mary said ," over there . I see a body ! JOHN !" Mary screamed .
"MARY !" John screamed as Mary ran as fast as her legs could carry her . When she approached she started crying ."What happened ?" She  asked as she comforted her brother .
"It's a trap ." John began ." Drake forced me to tell him about your power. I'm so sorry. I said after wards he didn't mean it and he hit me with his whip !" John wailed .
"It's ok your safe now ." Mary wept as she hugged John . Standing behind her were a few shadows .
"Mary look out !" Sam yelled . After that every thing went blurry and before she knew it Mary Terrafino was falling into oblivion !
