Chapter 3 - Nice evening

Soon, I walked out of the bathroom and sat on the sofa in the living room.
- are you okay, (y/n)? - I heard Elena said.
- I'm fine... I'm fine. - I said and sighed.
- (y/n)... I see that something's wrong. You know you can tell me everything. The boys aren't here, they went shopping. - she gave me worried look and put her hand on my shoulder.
I'll tell her.
- I love Nate. - I said , looking at her. She widened her eyes and said:
- woah... Well, I expected this for some time now. - she said. I looked at her, surprised.
- really? How?
- I can see how you look at him, how you're nervous when he speaks to you. It's really noticeable. - she said. I widened my eyes. God, was it that obvious...?
I was worried. What if he doesn't feel the same way I do? What if I tell him that I love him and he will end our friendship...?
- What if he doesn't feel the same? - I asked worriedly. Elena looked at me , smiling.
- I'm sure he does. Now, don't worry. It'll be fine. You'll see. - she said and hugged me. I hugged her back and she went to her room. Before she did, she asked me:
- oh, I just remembered, there's a party organized by my friend tonight. Are you coming? - she asked. I wasn't sure if I should go, but I decided that I will.
- yeah, sure. - I said and she left. I sighed and began to read my favorite book, (y/f/b). After about fifteen minutes I have fallen asleep on the couch.
After a few hours, I was woken up by sounds of the door opening. I got up and looked at my phone. I slept for 3 hours, it was 4:30 p.m. now.
- hey (y/n)! - Nate said to me, walking through the door. I smiled. He was carrying two big bags of shopping stuff. Damn, it took them more time than I expected. Sully waved to me and I waved back.
- (y/n), can you help us with those bags? - Sully asked.
- sure, I'm coming. - I answered and helped them to unpack everything. One thing was interesting. I saw a little fragment of a black material, a clothing, maybe?
I looked at my phone, it was one more hour to the party.
- oh crap! I have to get myself ready! - I yelled .
- wait, are you coming to the party tonight? - Nate asked.
- yeah, I was like "yolo" and decided to go. - I answered, laughing at the word "yolo".
-oh great! Follow me, I've got a surprise for you... - Nate said. I followed him, a bit nervous.
We went to our room and he got a bag with himself. Wait, was it the same black material like the one from the shopping...?
- I've got something for you, (y/n)... - he said and put a beautiful black dress out of the bag. I gasped and widened my eyes. I took it from him and yelled:
- oh my God, it's so beautiful!
I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. He giggled.
- I'm glad you like it. Now, put it on. I'd like to see how you look in it. - he said, stroking my hair. I smiled and waited for him to go out. I quickly put on the dress, some makeup and got myself ready for the party. Damn, I was looking good.
I walked out of the room and saw everyone waiting for me in the living room. Sully had one of his casual shirts on, Nate had a blue button-up shirt and Elena had a blue long sleeve dress. Everyone looked at me. I blushed a little.
- how do I look? - I asked shyly.
- I ... Umm.... - Nate started to say, but couldn't get a single word out.
- you look beautiful, (y/n)! - Elena said, putting her hand on my shoulder. I smiled.
- OK, we should go. Kids, you'll stay with my friend, Maria, she'll take care of you. - Elena said to the children. They nodded and started to run all over the room, as always.
This was going to be a great evening.
