"You okay?"Luke asked stooping to her level and slightly cringed and the sound of cameras' shutters behind him. "Partially" she said with a small smile and Luke couldn't help but to notice how the alcohol had made the scratch more prominent in her voice. He took the shoot glass from her and she frowned immediately.

"C'mon" he said attempting to pull her to stand but she only giggled and shook her head violently. He stared at her in shock as she said "I lost my shoes. No walking". Luke sighed at this then placed his hands under her knee and another around her back. She in turn squealed and tightly latched onto his neck.

The cameras among the crowd went wild as questions were thrown wildly at them. None of them were coherent to him as he quickly pushed through them to the safety of his vehicle. Once he placed her in the front seat, he closed the door for her then jogged to the driver's seat. He turned on the engine and frowned as he watched a crowd begin to build around the vehicle.

He locked the doors as he muttered "You've got to be fucking kidding me".

He pressed down on the horn in annoyance then made a point of his intention of leaving by making the vehicle lurch forward. A few shrieks of shock escaped the people as they parted away from the front of the vehicle and Luke drove off clearly annoyed.

"You okay?" Aria asked cheekily, repeating Luke's word but he wasn't in the mood to answer. He was too pissed about the paparazzi and he didn't want to take out his anger on her. Aria frowned as he lack of communication with her then turned to the window.

After a while she began humming to herself, which soon transformed to soft singing.

I want you
To color me blue
Anything it takes to make you stay
Only seeing myself
When I'm looking up at you

"What song is that?" Luke asked cutting her off. His heart was hectic with hearing her shaky voice singing with many cracks between the words. It wasn't that she couldn't sing, but that's how everyone sang when they were whispering. But hearing her seemed different. "I don't know. Heard it on the radio" she said turning to look at him and he nodded in understanding.

His fingers began to drum nervously on the steering wheel.

She's drunk. She won't remember if you ask her. This is your only chance Hemmings.

"So. Why don't you write songs anymore?" he asked nervously and almost cringed when a minute had past and she hadn't replied. She stared at him blatantly then furrowed eyebrows. "I write with a poisoned pen" she said wearily whilst glancing away from him and he in turn furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"I'm not quite sure I understand" Luke said and Aria shrugged nonchalantly as she closed her eyes. "I don't like this topic. Wake me up when we're there" she said quietly then curled up her body on the seat. Luke went quiet but said nothing.

When they arrived he didn't bother to wake her up. He lifted her up bridal style then walked to her door. When he was at the door he realized that he didn't know where the key was and he muttered a swear. "left pocket" Aria mumbled and Luke glanced down at her in shock but felt for it anyways.

He tried his best to avoid touching her anywhere else as he took up the key with a coconut tree and a giraffe as the key ring. He chuckled at it then opened the door. "Should I take you in?"Luke asked awkwardly and Aria sighed tiredly. "Yeah. Sure. Knock yourself out" she muttered and Luke searched the neatly arranged and minimalistic flat for her room.

Soon he found what he thought was her room then he walked inside and placed her on the bed. He was about to stand up back when she pulled him onto her and hugged him tightly. Her tears dampened his shirt and his pulse went hectic at the sudden change of mood. "What's wrong sweetheart?"he asked as she took in sharp breaths and cried into his chest.

"You were going to leave me. Why would you do that? What if I died or I had a nightmare or I killed myself-" "No one or thing will hurt you Aria. I'm not sure you really want me to stay though. You'll regret it in the morning" Luke explained in a nervous voice almost light headed with how close his body was pressed to hers.

Not a good idea
Not a good idea
Not a good idea

"I won't regret it. Please stay"Aria whimpered tightly squeezing molding their bodies together and very reluctantly Luke pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. They both knew the answer without hearing his response. He would stay. He would always stay.
