She heard him mumbling. She wanted to know what he said but now it was too late. She was already out of the cafeteria trying to calm herself. She took deep breaths and let her mind wonder.
"Move you weirdo!" Someone told her and pushed her out of his way. She snapped out of her thoughts and looked around. She realized the bell had rung and people filled the corridors of the school. She ignored the insults she heard from the other students and walked to her next class as fast as she could before she had a panic attack in front of everyone.
The hypnotizing sound of the clock made Cassandra furious. Why couldn't time just pass more quickly? She took her sketch notebook out and started drawing letting her anger and anxiety out. Suddenly, a tall dark figure sat next to her and leaned to whisper to her. She froze when his hot breath hit her neck.
"You're coming to my party right Cass?" She rolled her eyes and closed her notebook quickly.
"I'm not."
"Oh why is that? Don't you want to spent the night in my house?"
She felt her anger grow again. She cleared her throat and replied as calmly and silently she could.
"Get the fuck over yourself Hood. I'm not coming"He laughed and smirked at her.
"You're just afraid you won't be enough and you won't be able to fit it"
Calum saw her jaw clench. He put his hand on her thigh and thought he finally made it. She was a challenge for him and he was such a fool he though he had her wrapped around her finger.
"Hood, take your filthy hand away from my thigh. Now. And I'm not afraid." Her demanding tone made him obligate her. Just like Ashton did."Prove it. Come to my party if you're not afraid." She couldn't do this. She sensed that something would go wrong that night. But he kept pushing her limits.
"I don't need to prove it to you."
"Then you're afraid."
"I. Am. Not." She said through her teeth.
"Oh Cassy you are"
"No."
"But you are. Admit it"
"I'm not!"
"You are"She fell silent after that. She was afraid. Afraid of living again. Afraid of leaving her comfort zone. But she didn't want to let him win this. She needed to prove it somehow. She held back her tears that were threatening to spill and answered him.
"I will come" the bell rang he got up and flashed a devilish smirk at her (a/n I had to Fam...). She looked down and felt disappointed.Hours passed and that meant she had to go over to her teacher's office to discuss her "performance". She just wanted to go home and cry again. Life was so unfair to her. First this, then Ashton and at the top of all Calum.
She opened carefully the door, but by the time she got in her books fell off her hands making the couple on her teacher's desk stop their sloppy make out session.
"Michael?! Mrs-"
"Cassandra! It's not-" Michael tried to lie while Mrs Fanning hid behind her young boyfriend.----------
