(Woo after a long break I'm back with this update. I hope this doesn't disappoint you)
Loud music was all she heard and drunk teenagers was all she saw. She examined the room, no Michael, no Luke and no Ashton. Great. She smiled and took a small sip from whatever her drink was.
However she didn't feel comfortable. She still felt like she was being watched. Her eyes were searching for Iris, but she was too busy making out with a guy she just met in the backyard.
She found herself drinking alone at the corner of the living room. She was envious of all the people dancing carefree, laughing with their friends, you know just living a normal life.
Cassandra wasn't the only one that envied other people's happiness, Calum felt that too. He was supposed to be the cold popular guy that didn't know what feelings mean. He wanted to have fun, feel happy, because lately he felt dead inside. The only thing that made him feel alive was missing from his system that night. It was impossible for him to be his "usual" self. He was just empty, weak and plainly tired. So he was there, sitting on his bed, his head resting on his hands, heavily breathing. He gathered his remained energy and walked down.
He carefully poured a drink in his plastic red cup and he looked at the people. His eyes scanned the crowd. He noticed a familiar figure sitting alone in the corner of his living room. He almost didn't recognize her, she looked so different. He decided to walk up to her.
"I thought you wouldn't come babe" Calum said as he eyed her up and down. She started sweating, she was definitely nervous.
"Well I'm not afraid of a small party Hood" she replied. He chuckled and shook his head. He wrapped an arm around her waist and made her come closer to him so he could whisper in her ear,
"Oh I never said you're a afraid of a party but the things we do in parties like this one".She became even more nervous, of course she didn't want to be there. Calum scared her but she couldn't show him that. She couldn't just break down and show him how weak she was. The helpless Cassandra he knew was gone for that night.
She rolled her eyes, "You're rusty and lame. I'm not surprised you don't have a girlfriend" she said and tried to get away from his grip but he pulled her even closer after she tried that.
"Didn't your parents teach you not to lie?"
He whispered coldly into her ear which made her send chills down her spine."Get your hands off me..."
She said back which surprised him a little bit, he never knew she has the courage to say something back
"Hm but I thought you liked them around your waist" he whispered
"Maybe I do but that is none of your business" she said harshly back. The alcohol kicked in, she didn't see everything clearly. She felt free and scared at the same time. She didn't know how to get away from him or maybe it was that a part of her didn't want him to leave her alone that confused her drunk mind even more.Calum lifted his red cup up, "cheers babe" he said with a smirk as he took a sip. Cassandra took a sip too even tho she didn't like the bitter sweet now taste of the alcohol she was offered.
After more than few cups later Cassandra was fully under alcohol and so was Calum. He felt so good now that his thoughts didn't interrupt him from anything. He was almost his usual self, he felt powerful and satisfied that he was getting what he wanted from Cassandra and the fact she didn't even try to fight made him confident enough to lead her to his room.
It's beautiful when you have someone to look at you like you're the one who is going to make them happy. Cassandra and Calum definitely did that, they had eyes only for each other, but it was of course because of the big amount of alcohol they had consumed. That lead them to ignore everything and everyone around them.
Unfortunately nothing was going to be the way Calum planned everything in his head. And now those two totally different people had finally something in common, they both wanted to feel a spark inside them that would make them happy. But didn't they know that a tiny spark can start a fire?
Calum slightly closed the door of his room and started undressing. He slowly placed his lips on hers but she still knew what she didn't want to do, she didn't kiss back, not even move. Calum knew what she was doing so he moved down to her neck, it made her even more nervous. She started sweating again but tried to stay calm, she didn't want him to notice.
Calum left some hickeys on her neck knowing she can't hide them. He grinned at the sweet moans Cassandra let out, she couldn't keep quiet even if she tried. That was the moment she stopped thinking about her problems, the alcohol made her forget but so did he. So she left herself under his control.
He was gentle to her unlike the other girls, guiding her and praising her for the way she was making him feel under the sheets. She made him feel like his drugs did, she seemed like their replacement. He thought that if he kept her around he could quit that bad habit.
Meanwhile, Cassandra's mind was going numb, she felt free, she wasn't thinking, she felt good after all that time.
Ashton's heart was breaking outside that door Calum forgot to close fully. He felt so used, like a nothing. He was so sad and angry. Ashton had just sneaked to keep an eye on her in case she got too drunk or Michael or Luke was there. He offered her the world and she just lied to him. Everything was a lie, a big lie that would protect her but break him. So, he run out of that house cursing the fact that he cared that much.
