She

She doesn't have a preference
She doesn't care what they think
She's bi
And she's proud

She inflicts pain
Because she feels she deserves it
But no one will ever know

She's stolen
She was jealous
She's not as kind
As she seems

She's not as innocent
As everyone believes
No one thinks
She's done the stuff she's done

She's smoked
Just to try it

She's drank
Because why not

She helps others
But can't help herself
She doesn't want them to feel like this
that's what keeps her sane
And grounded

She didn't run to the bus
That day
And it haunts her
With every breath she takes
