when you hold onto someone
you dont always know how much its going to hurt
how hard it actually is
when you let someone go
you may think
yes this is right
and maybe it is
but not always
letting you go hurt
like being thrown into a fire
like drowning
like cutting and cutting deeper and deeper
never ending
constantly going
holding onto you hurt
like an ache
like not wanting to exist anymore
like falling into a dark place
that i knew i wouldnt escape
