"Good evening, master Thomas. We did not hear when you came in." Robert says.

Damn right. He startled me.

"Good evening, Robert." He gives a single head-bow to Robert, and I hear his feet shuffling behind me.

"Are you feeling alright, master?" Robert asks, concerned.

"I'm alive. It's nothing I can't deal with." He answers.

"Well, we just about wrapped it up. Thomas can take over the dancing part. Have a good evening, you two."

Robert picked up his black vest from his chair, folded it across his forearm, and made his way towards the door.

The practice spot for my etiquette session was a ballroom. The tables were pushed against the walls. Except for only one, placed right in the center of the ballroom, with two chairs.

So when Robert made his way out, the only sound that we heard was the door closing slowly.

I sat down on one of the chairs pushed against the wall.

I turned my back on Thomas and stared at the cream rug under my shoes. The uniform I had when I nursed Thomas was long gone, and now I had on a white T-shirt and black leggings. Thank God, or else he would have found out it was me instantly.

I'm supposed to be mad at him now.

"I heard you were sick. What are you doing up?" I ask, not looking at him.

"I felt that having a breath of fresh air would do me good. The fever went down so I can be up and about." He said, and I heard him dragging the other chair and placing it in front of me.

Dear god. It's so hard to look at him when I already saw him naked.

He sat on the chair, legs straight, elbow propped up on the chair handle and his face on that same hand. Those arms looked so fit, I can stare at them all day.

He looked tired, his eyes are not hazy anymore, but hints of bags under his eyes are showing. His green eyes were as beautiful as Jade stones, staring at me like they are accustomed to.

His lips were dry. I noticed the white tone when they are dry.

How I would like to kiss them and make them mois-

"When did you arrive?" He asked, interrupting my daydream of him.

"Early this morning. I have been training all day." I assure him, leaving him without any suspicions about me.

"That's good...How are your friends and the guys?"

"They are fine. Tomorrow is prom night, so they will go together."

"Yeah, I heard Lucas started dating Ember. Finally. He would not shut up about her when we were in High School." He laughs.

"That's right. They are together."

We stayed silent for a while, me avoiding his stare.

"I'm sorry that you can't go to prom." He says.

I look at him and his expression was of sympathy. He already had his prom, so why bother. "It's alright. I will do something with them later. Besides, I'm getting paid, aren't it?"

"That's correct."

I go ahead and ask him directly "Have you found a replacement for me?"

At this, he looked annoyed.

"There were many girls here, but since you came back, there was no use in having someone new."

Gee. Thanks. Charming as always. I expected something like 'no one can replace you' or something between those lines.
