As soon as the words left Jason's mouth, I tackled him to the floor in a hug and chanted yes repeatedly. Jason laughed, wrapped his arms around me, and kissed me to shut me up.
"Nice way to tell me to shut the hell up." I say once we pulled away. "I thought so" he said with a light chuckle.
"So, are you staying for pizza and movie night?" I ask, still on top of him. "Only if you and your parents are okay with it." He says. "Definitely." I say, a toothy grin planted on my face. "Also as long as I'm sitting next to you instead of your sister." He adds, making me release a light giggle. "I wouldn't have it any other way." I say, getting up and putting a hand out for Jason to grab so I can help him off the floor. He grabs my hand and pulls me back on top of him making me squeal and him laugh. We're staring into each other's eyes when my bedroom door opens. "Pizza is here and the movie is in the player. If Jason is staying and you two are watching the movie with us, then let's go" Tessa says from the doorway, turning and walking down the hallway back to the living room. Jason flips us so he's on top, gets up and helps me up. "Thanks." I say when I'm standing. He holds the door open for me and ushers me out, as I walk by him I stand on my tippy toes and peck his lips. He smiles and walks next to me down the hallway. I stop walking so he's in front of me and jump on his back. He gives me a piggy back ride to the living room to find it empty. "Theater room." I say, still on Jason's back. He carries me down the stairs (basement area, two rooms in the basement, one is the theater room and the other is the basement) to find my mother and sister sitting on the two chairs. "Is dad coming?" I ask, getting off of Jason's back and sitting on the couch. "No, he's working again." Mom says making me sigh. Always working... Never has time for his family... I say in my head. "What movie?" Jason says, sitting next to me on the couch. "A scary movie." Tessa says with a huge smirk that I would love to smack off of her face. "What?! You know I hate scary movies!" I say with a slight growl. "I'll protect you." Jason whispers in my ear. "See Jewels? You'll be fine, you have your boyfriend to protect you from the monsters in the closet." Tessa says laughing. I pout "He isn't my boyfriend." I protest. "That mini make out in your room says different." Tessa says making my mother look at me shocked. "Oh you're one to talk, you have one night stands every night. I can never sleep with all of your moaning all night." I fire back. "Shut up." She says, by now everyone in the room was dying in laughter except Tessa. "Okay, movie time." My mom says, pressing play on the remote. I turn and put my feet up on the couch and lean against the end of the couch. Wait... The end of the couch isn't shaped like this... My eyes widden in realization and I lean forward off of Jason. "Sorry, I'm not used to anyone being there..." I say. "It's okay, c'mere" he said, turned, and pulled me into his chest so I was leaning against him.
By the time the movie was 1/4 the way through, Jason was laying on the couch with me in front of him, facing him, with my head buried in his chest scared out of my wits.

Tessa's POV

The movie is over and I glance around the room to see Jason and Jewels cuddling on the couch, both asleep, and my mother disappeared. I get up, walk over to Jason and Jewels, and flick Jewels on the forehead hoping to wake her up but she doesn't even flinch. I look over at Jason, seeing his handsome face and hearing his soft snore. I poke his cheek. He doesn't wake up so I go upstairs to my bedroom, climb in bed, and go to sleep.
