Chapter 18

The next morning... (Jewel's POV)

I am awoken to the feeling of an arm around my waist and fingers playing with my hair. I flutter my eyes open to find a dark room with a big theater screen. Theater room. I turn my head to find out who the arms belong to, seeing Jason smiling at me. "Morning." He says. I release a yawn before responding. "Hi." I say, unwrapping his arm from my waist, getting up and walking into the kitchen which is upstairs. I hear Jason follow me. "I have to go, bye." He says before rushing out the front door. Weird... I think and drink my glass of water then go upstairs to shower.

Skipping the shower... (Sorry to you hormonal teenage boys or homosexual females)

I walk out of the bathroom fully dressed and check my phone, seeing I have a text message. I look at the contact name to see Jason 😍.
I look at the message. It reads:

Avery is coming by your house later to help you get ready. Happy Valentine's day

As soon as I finish reading the message, Avery comes walking through my door. "Jason sent me to get you ready for your date." She says. "Okay, wait, date?! Did he actually say the word date?!" I say. "Yes, he said, and I quote, 'Avery, I need you to go to Jewel's house to help her get ready for our date later'" Avery said, making her voice deeper to try to sound like a male but failing which caused me to laugh. Then realization hit me and I stopped laughing, squealed and did my happy dance all around my bedroom, Avery joining me. "What the hell?" Tessa says, opening my door and causing us to stop. "She has a date, can you help me?" Avery asks. "Sure, but I am not touching her, I'll help you with her accessories." Tessa says, walking to my dresser and looking at all of my jewelry. She went to pick up my golden heart necklace that stops just below my collarbone and as soon as she touched it, she jumped back and growled. I looked at her like she was crazy and went to pick it up, reacting the same as her. Avery went to pick it up and it was fine. "Wolfsbane." Tessa and I said at the same time. "I'll go wash the wolfsbane off of it and I'll take all your other jewelry too just in case." Avery says, grabbing my jewelry and taking it all to my bathroom. When she comes back out, she sets all my jewelry back on my dresser and goes into my closet to look for an outfit and shoes while Tessa looks at all my jewelry and I sit at my vanity stand and do my hair. Avery comes out of my closet and lays a dress on my bed and a pair of shoes on my floor by my bed. Tessa lays the necklace that burned me and her on my vanity stand table thingy along with a bracelet. Then they both walked out. I changed into the dress and the flats and put on the necklace and bracelet. Then Avery walks back in and finishes doing my hair into a French braid that turns into a bun.

I hear my phone beep signalling I have a text message, so I pick it up and look at it.

Jason 😍- I'll pick you up at 12

I look at the time on my phone to see that it is 12:55. Five minutes until I'm no longer a loner. I say in my head. I start playing a game on my phone to pass the time. I hear my doorbell ring and I speed down the stairs, to open the door. I open the door to a hot looking Jason with a rose. I smile and my mom walks behind me. "Who's at the do- Oh hello Jason, you better take good care of my baby or my fist will be the last thing you see." My mother says then pushes me out the door causing me to fall into Jason and our lips to meet. (A/N: Lol, I wrote Justin instead of Jason like 3 times before JayJay took the phone and typed Jason then gave it back to me) We were kissing for a few seconds before I heard a click of a camera and a squeal coming from my mother. We both pulled away and looked at my mother who head out her phone which was on a picture of Jason and I kissing. (A/N: I did it again guys, I wrote Justin instead of Jason 3 times.) I am most likely blushing right now. "Okay, you two go, have fun. Happy Valentine's day!" She yells the slams the door shut. "I have a weird mother..." I say, turning to look at Jason. "Who doesn't?" He says. "Good point." I say before he grabs my hand and leads me through the woods into a clearing meadow place where I see a picnic blanket and a picnic basket in the middle of it.

Skipping the picnic because I am not familiar with picnic dates and shit...

So, Jason and I are ice skating at the moment and let's just say... Jason isn't the best ice skater... He's only been on the ice for 10 seconds and he's already fallen twice. I'm skating slowly with him holding my hand. He falls and pulls me down with him so I'm on top of him. He pecks my lips and asks me the one question I never expected him to ask me. The question made me feel dizzy and light headed like I was going to faint...
