Chapter 12: SHE CAN WHAT?! Wait, I already knew that!

         Zayn's P. O. V.

The monitor is talking again... It's saying that my sworn enemy is attacking the orphanage. Her name is Taylor. She's a hybrid... She's both a vampire and a wolfblood... I can't let her attack orphanage! My friends are still there! Hey! I'd get to see Tanner and Louie again! Wait just one minute! I'd see them as Malik Man, not Zayn! Why couldn't my life be easier?! I mean, I love saving people, but sometimes it gets annoying how you can't even see your best friends because you mighy kill them!

I was snapped out of my thoughts by being slapped in the face... Whoever smacked me, is REALLY lucky they didn't mess up ny hair! Because if they did, we would have had BIG problems...

I look around and sde Saskia whistling innocently... Please don't let him find out, if he does, I gonna die! Well, let's look at the bright side... I promised myslef I'd die young, and I'm keeping my promise! I read Saskia's mind..."Saski, you d remember I can read minds, right?" I ask."Oh, yeah... I forgot about that... Please don't hurt me!" She drops to the ground and curls up into a ball like an armadillo. "Saski, I'm noy gonna hurt you, I would never." I reassure her, picking her ball shaped body up from the floor.

I got lost in my thoughts again... What if they recognize me? What if they find out I'm Malik Man (their favorite superhero other than Avery and Niall Vision) and then hate me and want nothing to do with me?! My thoughts were interrupted by someone else's. Zayn! Relax! But, question: Who were you thinking about just then? It sounded like Avery's voice. Hey, Bradford Bad Boi! It is me! Avery told me using her telepathy. I was thinking about my best friends Tanner and Louie. They're still in that orphanage... I say back. Well, mate, I hope you're ready to go save their lives! I heard Niall's voice jump in. I'm always ready to save family's lives. I say. Wait, I thought they were your best mates. Niall says confused. They are my best mates. But, they're so close to me, they're practically family. I explain. "I get it now! Somewhat..." He says out loud. "You get what, Niall?" Electra Women asks. "Zayn, how many times does mum have to tell you? She wants you to call her mom." Avery says, being the only one still roaming around in my mind. Avery! Get out of my head! There are things in there that I don't want you knoeing about! I scold. "Fine! Be that way!" Avery says out loud, finally pulling herself out of my mind. "Be what way?" Mr. Vision says. Zayn! Call him dad! He doesn't like when people call him "Mr." He says it makes him feel older. Niall's voice is going around in my head. "Okay! Can we go save Tanner and Louie?!" I say, really scared for my best friends. "Who is Tanner and Louie, Zayn?" Saskia ask from my arm. I totally forgot she was still in my grasp. "They're my best mates. They were in the orphanage with me and still are there. They're like brothers to me. And we have to save them. Along with my other friends from the orphanage." I say. "Well, let's go!" Mr. Vision says, putting his right arm in the air with his pointer finger poked out and pointing toward the front door. "Wait!" I say. "What's wrong, Zayn? I thought you wanted to go sace your friends." Electra Women says in a confused tone. "I do, but before we go, I need to tell you a little bit about Taylor." I say. "Okay..." Niall says. "So, she's MY sworn enemy. She knows my every move. To her, I'm extremely predictable. But, then again, she's never even heard about you guys. If you were to send me in first, she'd probably beat the crap out of me, but it would give you guys time to come up with a plan to destroy her. But, when planning, you have to keep in mind that she's a hybrid." I inform everyone. "Hybrid? What's a hybrid?" Saskia asks in a really cute voice. "A hybrid is when you're two different mythical creatures." I explain to the nine year old. "English please." She says in a little bit more of a sassy tone. "Okay... For example... Niall... He's a hybrid." I say motioning towards Niall the boy who just got snapped out of his thoughts. "Huh?" He says confused. "I was using you as an example." I tell him. "So, Niall's a hybrid, does that mean I'm one too?" Saskia asks. "No, sweetie. The reason Niall is a hybrid is because he has the blood of a wolfblood and the blood of a superhero in him." I explain. "Wait, what the heck do you mean, Zayn?" Mr. Vision asks, stepping toward me. "What I mean is he has the power to turn into a wolf. He also gained speed, super hearing, super sense of smell, he can now jump really high and if he gets a wound, will heal within minutes. The only time he can't do any of this is on a new moon day. On full moons, he needs to be locked away because that's when he transforms and can't control it. He will go crazy if he isn't. " I say. "How do you know all this, Zayn?" Electra Women says. "Because my friends are wolfbloods. Some of them are hybrids with wolfblood and demi god. Some are with wolfblood and vampire. But, not all vampire hybrids are bad. Mostly just Taylor." I explain. "Wait, so, Niall's a werewolf?" Saskia asks. Niall tenses up and starts to growl softly.
