Whirlwind

The Group - Chapter 4

I wake to the ringing of my alarm. A new day. Let's do this. Even if it is Monday.

I get up from my queen sized bed I placed it against the wall so I have more space in my room. I make my bed, making sure there's nothing under my blue and white covers. The cover looks like white grass blowing in the bind with a beautiful blue background. I put on my 'Paramore' playlist. I walk over to my ensuite and take a shower making sure to use the new rose shampoo and conditioner I bought the other day. When I got out I brushed my teeth and hair. I put on my uniform, oh, yeah we wear a uniform it's not as bad as you think it has a white strip under our arms all the way down our hips and the rest is navy blue the school logo is on left side near your heart, and then you could wear any skirt, pants or shorts that were navy blue.

I climbed down the stairs and made 4 pieces of toast then buttered them and put jam on top. I grabbed my bag and the toast and went to Mai. She meets me half way between where our houses are so it's quicker to get to school.

"Hey Sil!" she yell from across the road she looks at my hands and smiles, "Thanks I was starving!" saying happily as she takes 2 of the pieces.

"I don't understand why you don't make your own breakfast?" I said also laughing

"That's because I have this wicked friend who makes me breakfast without even thinking about it." She said giving me a giant grin. We walked to school complaining about how we both have a science test today.

"Oh, Josh told me he had a great time with you. Thanks Sil, really." She sounded like she was fangirling about it in her head. "I'm happy you guys are getting along." Changing her face, like nothing happened.

"Yeah, and how are you and that 'Loo' guy going?" I asked probably sounding more curious than I would have liked.

"Oh, yeah good." her face was slowly turning red, "You know he moved to our school he should be here today. Maybe he's in one of my classes!" Forgetting whatever mood she was in before. I smiled at her, I god damn hope he's in none of my classes. I want to ignore what happened 3 days ago. I split from Mai when we got to school, it wasn't we're different groups of people so no hanging out at school. I just had my own friends to hang with.

"I can't believe you just said that to me! I so won at that marathon of COD on the weekend!" Angela was yelling at Jackson.

Her short black hair moving with every movement she makes and her dark brown skin. Jackson sitting across from her laughing at how easily he can wind her up, I always loved his hair he had beautiful black hair. People used to ask if we were related because our hair looks alike (even though my hair is brown its mistaken for black at times) and I guess he does have some of the same basic features.

Angela spotting me, "Ok Silver tell this dweeb that he lost the game and to admit it. Also hi how was your weekend?" She changed her tone and hugged me.

I've been friends with her since year 7 we got along just fine, she didn't understand how I was friends with Mai she was one of the people who hated her. But she ignored that I was friends with her now.

Laughing I said, "Ok Jackson stop teasing Angie, we all know she won and hi. I also kind of went to a party on Friday Angie." They laughed then asked me about it I told them it was loud and crowded.

"Um... 'cough cough' did you meet anyone?" She winked at me and I laughed I also nodded. "Omg I can't wait to meet him I hope he's not like Jackson one bit. Because we all know how that turned out."

Yeah, we did go out for a while but it was really awkward. He was my first crush and my first kiss but we didn't have a progressing relationship so he decided break up with me. We ended up friends though, which I think is better. I guess I didn't always think so but he ended it so, yeah.

"Hey so who's this guy, I'm like your big brother so I have to meet him." Jackson said finally chiming in on the conversation. "And if you need condoms just come to your big bro."

I choked, "EW no were not up to there yet, and why would you even need condoms who are you going to use them with. Yourself?" The whole group started laughing.

Harry the kid I met last year who has the coolest red haired afro was laughing so hard, I remember asking him to sit with us because he was sitting all alone for the first 2 weeks of school.

Michaela was texting her 'boyfriend' who we all agreed was fake, but she still had time to laugh she was brought by Harry cause he had a crush on her, but she never ended up leaving. She complains about how we made her more of a loser, but she till chooses to stay.

There's also Jayde and Simon their twins, they have blonde hair and blue eyes they just invited themselves here one day and we were fine with it. Whenever there are other people around them then our group they act all creepy with their twin 'abilities'. By reading each other's minds, when they just already know the answers because they live together.

Then there's me I'm normal I guess I'm to glue of the group when I'm not here, hell breaks loose.

"So anyone have a science test today?" They all raised their hands then all laughed. The bell rang for 1st period. "Ok see you all at lunch 1."

"Okay bye!" the twins said in unison.

"Yeah ok..." said Michaela as she walked away texting as Harry followed her waving at me.

"So see you." Angela said hitting Jackson as she walks away.

"I see were walking to class together." he winked at me and we both laughed, "Good luck on your test Vi." I always loved that he had his own nickname for me. He's like my best friend other than Mai.
