Meet Up - Chapter 2

"Omg. That's right his name was Ashley. Wow why did we break up again?" she asked clearly thinking that they should get back together.

"He said you really didn't love him, so you said obviously!" I said stopping her thoughts.

"Right, I didn't love him. So meh, his loss. Now what are you going to wear to the party, remember not fancy it just a casual party but don't come in your panamas!" She said stopping to make sure I heard her, "Ok?!" She said louder this time.

"Huh, yeah, yeah sure." I said nonchalant as possible.

"Mmhmm." Neither of us believed me but she let it slide since I said yes to the party.

It was now Friday and Mai had probably told me every last detail about this Josh kid I didn't know whether she was talking him up to me or if she honestly thought he was that amazing. I didn't dare to ask for I might be scoffed at for being stupid.

I texted Mai that I would be there at 8pm in 20 minutes, she said ok, and that people were starting to arrive. I grabbed my favourite pair of jeans which would now be my party jeans I guess I put on boots and a white and red striped shirt that shaped my body well. That's one the things I liked my body has curves now. I grab my phone, wallet and keys. I walk over to her house, the first thing I see are the large amounts of bodies moving inside my best friend's house. When I get to the door a drunk girl gets kicked out, I mean who would be drunk already, its only 8:04pm.

My rhetorical question being answered when Mai grabs me and I can smell the alcohol on her breath she completely drunk no questions. I grab her and make her sit down. But she pulls my arm over to a cute guy that smiles at me as I come over. She introduces him as "Jooossssshhieeeee!" She tells me she'll be back which I don't believe.

"Anyway, Hi I'm Josh." he smile a swooning smile and held his hand out to shake hands, so I obliged. His hand was warm I took in all his features his dark brown eyes, sandy blonde hair and chiselled chin.

"So. Um how has you're night been?" I asked searching for any question to break the awkward silence.

"Great now that your here." That caught me by surprise.

"You're rather smooth aren't you?" I said mockingly but with a flirting intension. I feel like I know him. Like I've met him before. We talked about random stuff after that like; favourite food, subjects, books, places, music.

"So, Um... Silvia..." I cut him off.

"You can call me Sil or Silver if you want." I said hating my full name.

"Oh, yeah sure. So do you by any chance have a boyfr...?"

This time I swear it wasn't me who interrupted Mai walked in pulling along another poor soul I didn't really notice him much I saw black hair and black eyes if that was even possible, but I didn't really care much. But I still had a drawn feeling towards him. I had the same feeling with him too like I've met him before just like Josh. "Come on, Loo I want you to meet my friends." She looked up and saw Josh was about to say something important. She cursed to herself then returned. "Well you too look chummy now, anything happen." She said in a sweet voice then winking at me. I rolled my eyes and giggled. Mai glided through the chairs carelessly thrown everywhere, while still pulling along a soul who was practically a dead soul now. "Loo this is Silvia, but you can call her Silver or Sil, and his fine gentleman over there is Joshua Nickelson." She said pointing to each of us, "Oh right, and this is Loo..? Yeah, I think that's it." Obviously getting it wrong.

"Hey, Mai?" I ask nicely not to set off my real agenda.

"Yeah Sil?!" She said completely out of it.

"I-I'm a little waisted would it be ok if I stayed over so you can make sure I don't do anything stupid." Making it sound like she'd be taking care of me, but Josh looked at me acknowledging what I was doing.

"Of course you can Sil... Sil?" She asked quickly changing the tone of her voice.

"Do you still have that scar?" She asked seriously. I froze we promised we'd never talk about it again. I looked at her to see if she really meant it. She looked completely dazed. I sighed in relief and in forgiveness, she was drunk I needed to remember that. I could feel the gaze of all three of them looking at me, I was ready to kick them all in the face.

"What scar?" Asked Josh.

"Nothing!" I yelled louder than it needed to be, "I'm sorry it's just personal, maybe I'll tell you one day." I smiled at Josh and he leaned over and kissed me on the forehead. For the first time I swear I saw 'Loo' flinch I didn't understand why but the moment I looked over Mai threw herself at him, sitting (more like straddling) on him and started intensely making out with him. After a while 'Loo' stopped minding and let her do it. I nearly threw up. I gave them an hour before practically pulling Mai to get her off.

It was 1am and everyone was kicked out by my hand. Josh left arguing that he could help but I sent him home. He kissed me on his way out, one the best kisses I've ever experienced before. Mai was in bed also my doing, her house was trashed so I started cleaning when I realised 'Loo' was still here, and helping me clean.

"You don't have to clean really go home, I can manage." he just shook his head at me like what-are-you-stupid-like-I'd-leave-you-here-lone-to-clean.

I was dozing off, water was surrounding me. Cold and wet. I couldn't breathe. I refocused when I heard 'Loo' drop his broom. He bent down and picked it up.

We finally finished, it was 2:30am now I started putting the cleaning supplies away. When I turned I was face to face or more like face to chest with 'Loo' I tilted my head up to view his face and I wish I hadn't. I took in all and I mean all of his features. His chin was so chiselled, his eyes weren't black they were deep blue so deep you could fall in, his hair wasn't black either it was a beautiful dark brown, I wanted to run my fingers through his hair so badly. I lifted my hand...
