**Aria's POV**

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I hit the stop button on my alarm clock which reads 4:30 before throwing the duvet off me. Max gets up from the end of my bed yawning in the process.

"Hey bud." I say to him petting his ear.

I sluggishly walk to my closet to pick out an outfit which consists of a black and white striped pencil skirt, royal blue blouse, nude pumps and a colorful chunky necklace. I set my clothes on my desk, walk into the bathroom, turn on the hot water, strip off my clothes and step into the shower.

I emerge from the shower 30 minutes later freshly shaved and washed with the whole bathroom fogged up. I wrap a towel around body tightly, plug in my blow dryer, curling iron and straighter. I grab the robe that's hanging on the back off the bathroom door and replace the towel with the robe.

I grab my brush and brush out all the tangles before drying my hair. 15 minutes later, my hair is now dry and in the process of straightening it when I burn myself.

"Ow! God Damn it!" I yell. I continue the process of straightening and curling my hair.

I brush my teeth and wash my face and then move onto my makeup which consists of mascara, eyeliner and some lip gloss. I walk out of the bathroom satisfied with my appearance to see that my clock reads 5:30. Shit. I'm going to be late to work on my first day. I quickly but carefully put on my work outfit, spray myself with perfume, then grab my purse. I quickly fill out the invitation, choosing steak, close the envelope and run out the door locking it in the process.

I press the button for the elevator and step in quickly. I dig through my purse hoping that my keys are in there which luckily they are. The elevator dings which alerts me that the doors are opening. I stick the envelope into the mailbox.

I practically run out of the building to my car, I get in, buckle, back out of the parking lot and speed down the road. The clock reads 6:10 and I'm racing into the parking lot of DeLuca Enterprises. I walk into the building and over the front desk.

"Hello." I say smiling.

"Hello. How may I help you?" She replies back also smiling.

"I'm Aria Harden and today is my first day."

"Hold on let me get your credentials, which contains your I.D badge and key card. And I'll show you around."

"Okay."

"And here you go."

"Thanks."

"I'm Stacie by the way."

"I know. You helped me when I came here for the interview."

"Oh yeah. I did, didn't I?" Stacie says giggling.

"Yes you did."

"You're quite early. Aren't you?" She asks As we walk over to the elevator and press the up button.

"Yeah." The elevator dings and we step in, Stacie hitting the 10th floor button.

"Okay, so there are forty floors the 10th floor is the cafeteria and the food is absolutely amazing. And the fortieth floor is for you and Mr. DeLuca." The elevator dings which makes me wonder about how long we've been in the elevator.

"I'm going to show how he likes his coffee. Then everyday before you walk into the building you can go to his favorite coffee shop, Coffee Magic."

Great. Just great.

"Okay."

"Now he during the morning you go to the coffee shop and ask for Sara. She's the only person he allows to make his coffee there. He wants it on his desk at 7:00 sharp every morning and you get out at 5. But during the rest of the day he likes coffee piping hot with a one cream and two sugar., never mind, you just have to go to Coffee Magic and order his usual. Got it?" She asks after I write it down.

"Yep."

"Oh it's 6:45. So you've got to go in order to get Mr.DeLuca's coffee."

"Oh crap. I'll be back." I say as I jog to the elevator.

I press the button and the doors automatically open and I quickly step in hitting the ground floor. The elevator dings signaling that I reached the ground floor and I race out of the building. I run to my car and get in pulling out of the parking lot to get Mr.DeLuca's coffee. I arrive at the shop eight minutes later. I get out and walk into the shop carefully.

"I'm looking for Sara." I ask a young lady.

"I'm Sara. What can you help you with?"

"I need you to make a certain coffee for Mr.DeLuca." I reply quickly.

"I'll have it out in a minute." She answers disappearing behind the counter. I tap my foot trying to ease the fear that's coursing through my veins.

"Here."

"Thanks." I say quickly.

I slap a five on the counter and run out of the shop. I hop in my car and drive to DeLuca Enterprises. I pull into the parking, grab my bag, race into the building and into the elevator without stopping the constant jog I had. I press the 40th floor and check my watch. 6:55.

The doors finally open and I bolt out out of the elevator towards Mr.Deluca's office. I knock on the door confidently with his coffee in my hand.

"Come in." A deep baritone voice says from behind the door.

"Your coffee sir. Is there anything I can get you?" I ask nervously.

"Sit." He says not looking up from the computer screen.

"Yes sir." I slowly sit down in my chair and pull out the notebook and pen I packed this morning.

"I want you to get me the Henderson file, book a reservation for two at La Vie Paris at seven, refile the filing cabinet in alphabetical order and recycle any files that are irrelevant to the company, make copies of the Wilson files, give me a copy and file the other ones. " Mr. DeLuca says without even glancing in my direction.

"Yes, sir anything else?" I ask as I finish writing down what he just told me.

"No. Susan will show you to your office. You are dismissed Ms. Harden." He says coldly.

"Yes, sir." I rise from my seat, putting everything into my bag, pull down my skirt slightly and walk out his office.
