**Aria's POV**
My day is now slowly coming to a end after the incidents that happened this morning. But when I say slowly, I mean slowly. Its now 1 o'clock and I'm currently waiting in line at a small sandwich shop ordering lunch for Mr. DeLuca. I'm starving because I wasn't able to eat my breakfast sandwich due to the meeting this morning. And lunch right now sounded so good. Shit! I have a lunch date with Mason! I'm going to have to cancel it. I pull out my phone and call him.
"Hello beautiful! I was just about to call you!" He says cheerfully.
"Hey Mason! I called you because I had to tell you something." I state.
"If it's about you being in love with me then I was going to say that I know I have the looks and the charm. I was wondering when you were finally going to fall for me." I can practically feel his smirk through the phone.
"Ha ha ha, no. I called you to say that I'm unable to make it to our lunch date today. I'm so sorry."
"That's what I was going to call you about. I have a last minute meeting with an important client. But can I make it up to you?" Mason asks. I smile at his question.
"I don't t know. I'm pretty upset about you cancelling. I can't handle a man that won't go out date with a girl like me." I state, messing with him.
"I will make it up to you. I promise." He pleads.
"I guess I can give you a second chance." I sigh.
"Awesome. How about Friday?"
"That sounds wonderful." I smile.
"Great ! I'll pick up up at 7."
"Okay. Sounds like a plan."
"Bye. See you Friday."
"See you Friday." I hang up and step up to the counter to order.
"I'll take Mr. DeLuca's usual, a turkey and bacon sandwich without tomatoes and two Mountain Dews to go please."
"Okay. That'll be out in just a minute."
"How much is it?"
"Mr. DeLuca called and said to put everything on his card."
"Oh." That was all I could say. Why would he do that? He doesn't care about me or how I eat. So why would he pay for my lunch?
"Here."
"Thanks." I walk out and soon find myself back at Skyline Enterprises.
I press the elevator button and it opens so I step in and press 20. I wait patiently for the doors to ping and they do, I step out and walk to my office. I set my bag down in my small coat closet. I walk over to the door that's connects our offices and knock. He's looking out of the windows with his hands behind his back, calmly. Not working? What happened to the real Mr. DeLuca? He's always working. ALWAYS.
"Come in." Mr. DeLuca's voice booms. I open the door and walk over to his desk. I set down his soda and sandwich and turn around to walk out.
"Stay." I stop and turn around shocked.
"What?"
"Stay and eat with me." What
"I can't sir. That's inappropriate." The
"Please?" Hell?
"No, sir. It's highly inappropriate." I reply.
"Fine." Mr. DeLuca says coldly.
