**Aria's POV**
As we eat our lunch Stacie is still smiling from ear to ear. We finish eating 30 minutes later and pay for the meal. As we walk out Max winks at Stacie and yet again she blushes a deep red. We hail a taxi and head back to the office. We exit the taxi and pay then head into the building.
"Bye Aria!" Stacie yells out as she walks to her desk.
"Bye Stacie!" I yell before stepping into the elevator.
I soon remember that I'm now going to have to face Mr. DeLuca. I press the 20 button and wait for the numbers to slowly increase. I open my bag and take it my lip gloss, I fix my lips by looking at the mirror/ glass that the inside walls are made out of. I also take out my mascara and and a few swipes to my naturally long lashes and put everything back into my bag. I look at my reflection and observe my features.
What about wasn't good enough for Brandon? Am I not skinny enough? Pretty enough? Or is it because I wanted to wait to have sex until our honeymoon? I sigh and look away from the mirror. I have to get over it. The elevator dings and the doors open. I step out of the elevator and walk towards my office.
My office is different from every other office in the building. The floor is black marble, white walls, a small coat closet, a door that connects to Mr. DeLuca's office, a door that connects to the private bathroom that we share, a mahogany desk, a black sofa sits against the wall, a glass coffee table placed in front with a vase containing a small bouquet of red flowers.
The thing that I love most about my office is the wall behind my desk is made of glass giving me a perfect view of NYC. I have a remote that allows me to lower shades and adjust how dark or how light I want it.
I walk in and hang my bag in the closet before sitting in my chair. I sit down and turn around looking at the beautiful view of NYC.
"Come to my office now." Mr. DeLuca's voice com through the intercom. I rise out of my chair, straighten my outfit and walk into Mr. DeLuca's office.
"Yes, sir?" I ask ready for whatever irrelevant task that he throws at me.
"I need you to make a copy of these, and file them, and get me a coffee when you're done." He says pointing to a pile that probably has at least 50 folders that sits on his coffee table.
He can't even look at me. Now I'll just add another man to the list of men that I don't look good enough for or not good enough to even look at.
"Yes, sir. Will that be all?" I ask.
"Yes." Is all he says. I groan internally.
I walk over to the table and pick up about half of the folders and walk back into my office, placing them on the coffee table before going to get the rest of the folders. I set them down on the table and begin working in the files.
*************
It takes my 3 and a 1/2 hours to finish. I then grab my bag and go back to the elevator to go get his coffee. The doors open and I step in pressing the L button.
"Hold the doors!" Someone yells out. I stick my hand in between the doors to keep them from closing.
A tall man steps in the elevator and smiles at me, I smile back. He's gorgeous. Tall, blonde, green eyed, slightly muscular and maybe a gentleman.
"Are you new? Because I've never seen you around here before." He asks. I nod.
"I'm sorry that that just came out a little blunt." He chuckles.
