**Aria's POV**

I walk to the elevator and press the button waiting patiently for it to arrive. The elevator pings signaling that its arrived. I step in and press the lobby button and lean my head back against the cool glass mirror.

Why do I keep making the same stupid mistakes? Why do I keep kissing my boss? I don't have feelings for him. And he doesn't have feelings for me. I don't want to be his toy. The doors open and I step out of the elevator and out of the building to my car.

I hop in and drive to my apartment while thinking of all the stupid mistakes that I've made over the course of one day. I arrive at my apartment building and I get out of my and walk in. I press the elevator button and step in pressing the 5. The elevator is something that I'm starting to dislike because of one of the stupid mistakes that I did. It pings and I step out and walk to my door and unlock it enjoying the warm feeling that flows into my body.

I kick off my heels from my tired aching feet and slowly walk to my room. I change out of my clothes into loose pajama shorts and a cami, now that it's going into June. I fall into my bed and lay there trying to sleep. I look at the clock and the bright red numbers read 8:53. I sigh and pick up my phone to call my brother, Dylan. He picks up after two rings.

"Hey little sister!" Dylan says amused.

"Hey big brother!" I reply.

"And for what do I owe the pleasure for a call from you at such a late time?"

"I just needed some brotherly advice." I sigh.

"Okay. This is unexpected. So what do you need advice on?"

"Okay so I started a new job about a month ago and I might regret it."

"What happened? Do I need to give someone an ass whooping?" He asks starting to get a little mad.

"No. I'll start from the day of the interview. My day was starting off great, I got up late and got ready for the interview, cried at a picture of my family. Then I left my apartment to get some coffee. With me so far?" I ask.

"Yes. Continue."

"Okay. I arrived at the shop and ordered, got my coffee and started to head to my car. I trip but I didn't eat a mouth full of concrete like always. Instead some guy catches me and I thank him, manners matter. I begin to leave but he grabs my arm and requests me to go in a coffee date with him because he almost made me spill my drink. He won't stop asking, okay? So I did what you taught me. I used self-defense. I kicked him in his male parts and dumped my coffee on him." I say recapping on what has happened to my the last few days.

"Wow, sis. I'm so proud of you." I can practically hear the smile in his voice.

"Thanks. So I go to my interview, the women before were dressed like sluts and then go in and have sex with the boss. I walk in and guess who it was? Coffee shop guy."

"Oh my god. No fucking way."

"Yeah. He then tried to call me a whore by dressing in such a bad way, so I slapped him and yelled in his face. I come home and get the mail and find an envelope that contained an invitation to my ex-fiancé's wedding."

"So not tell me that you're going to that dickface's wedding?" Dylan says growing angry. Dylan never liked Brandon. He never gave me a reason why except "He's not a good person for you. You could choose someone better." I should've listened to him.

"I'm going, only to ease the water under the bridge." I reply.

"Aria." My brother warns.

"Anyway, coffee shop guy surprisingly hired me, I started last month and then me being my stupid self, I kissed him twice since I've started." I sigh, shoving my head into my pillow.
