Chapter seven: dark woods

I awake on a bed feeling tired, it seem everything was normal. My head heart so bad, Annie walk in with caring a cup of tea. He sat next to me and tell me to get some rest, she give me the cup of tea. I drink the tea, and soon I put the cup on a small table on my left. He ask Annie about yesterday, I ask her what happened to me last night. She stay silent, later she said that it doesn't matter and walk out. I stay in my room, it was evening. I open the window in my room, and view the outside. People were living their normal life, someday I'll protect them all. 
           Egil enters in my room caring a cup of blood, he stop before me. He ask," are you thirst?"
 I say," not really. I'm fine think you Egil," he leaves the room. 
          As he leave, I changes my clothe and enter out. I heads into the cathedral' library and finds books about that talks about Aswang, I was reading to discovered how to break a bound that I share with my father. He speaks to me telepathically every night when I heads to bed, he threaten me with his wise words. No matter where I hide, because I share bond with him he can find me. In my youth years he uses his dark magic to emerge his conscious with mine, so he can always find me wherever I am. He can see everything I do, because I share deep bond with I fear to end him. If  I do, I also may die. I read the books in the library for hours, but I did not find any information that can help me. But I did found an information in the book about how to cloak myself from my father, I head back in my room and started to study the deep magic the book speak about. I had to calm my mind in order to be successful, I meditate in my calm and studying the deep magic. He was able to cloaked myself soon, now I'm free . . . .my father cannot anymore sense my presence.
One day later I pay a visit to his new so call wife, Madame Erulassë. I met with her into the woods of New Orleans, I gave her an envelope. Inside it there was a letter, I wrote for my mother. I  talked to Madame Erulassë and told her to give the letter to my mother, I wanted to know how she's been since the day my sinister father enslaved her.  Madame Erulassë manifested her wings and fly across the sky with the envelope, soon after I heads back to the Cathedral of Lights. When I arrived there, Emu, Arvid, and Annie were waiting for me. They stood next to my room door, I stand toward them and ask.
   " Were you guys waiting for me to return?"
       Emu answered,"  yeah.  The Silent Priests have an assignment for us, they waiting in the Council room." We leave together and heads into Council meeting room, the Silent Priests were waiting for us in there. We sat down on chairs, wondering what the assignment is. Egil, a Silent Priest; he stood and started to spoke.

                " Draculin brought not so good news this morning, he report a message to us. It seem in New Orleans innocent people have been missing, over 200 hundred people. We're not sure whose kidnapping all those people, and so I want you Calder and your team to go to New Orleans and observe about the kidnapper. Then return immediately when you have enough news that can help you," I say." It could be my father," said Egil.

  " It could be, go to New Orleans and find out." Emu, Annie, and I leave the Council meeting room, we go separate ways. I went in my room and  prepare my gears,  Annie and Emu prepare their's as will. Mason and Astrid as will, Mason was downstairs having a word with the Silent Priests. I met him down there,  Annie, Emu, Astrid, Arvid, and Belmont came after. We were ready to go, each one of us have everything we needed for the mission the Silent Priests have given us. We walk outside the Cathedral and stood near a lamp poster, the flying ship was above us. Belmont uses his teleportion ability and transport us on the ship, the ship was cloaked. It is invisible to a human eye, it soon takes us to Orleans. In my right hand I was caring the purple crystal, my Buster sword in a form of a crystal. It was night, and there was a full moon. I was afraid, as I was thinking about Adrian and his werewolves that they were following us. Alpha werewolves are very powerful, they're very durable in a full moon. He can change into his Alpha form at will, he is a free Alpha. He was born as an Alpha, he did not steal the power from a dying Alpha, he was born as an Alpha werewolf. He is the most well known Alpha in the world, his appearance frighten normal people. He's very very bulky, with wolverine looking sideburns. He act harsh to everyone, and was once an outcast.
   
When we arrived in New Orleans, the people in the town were absent. The town was silent, it seem the people were  hiding in their houses. Annie landed the ship, soon after we all get off the ship and heads into the town asking ourselves questions if there is people on this town or not. They all were absent, soon I was right they all were hiding in their houses. I could hear their heartbeats, Mason walk into one of the house and knock on the door, he cry.
        " Is anybody in there? . . . .Hello!, "  the people hiding in the house opened the door. But they did not reveal themselves, we enter in the house. Arvid close the door, we wander into the house calling for the people hiding to reveal themselves.
                                          Three women and five men came out nowhere and pointed guns at us, they demand for us to surrender. They ask for who we are, as they surround us.
        Emu says to them," please listen to us. We're not your enemy, where are all the people of this town."
                 One of the woman says," hiding. We all were, many people have been missing and kidnapped by these flying creatures. Everyone who have went  hunting into those woods, they never return. We hear them scream and they never return, there is something into those woods. And it frighten the people of this town, that why we're hiding. We don't know what it is, it could be a vampire or a witch or a demon kidnapping our people."
