Chapter 5: Nearly killing Nico

Thalia looks at me, "What were you doing with death boy?!" Thalia asks me angrily.

I look at her in surprise, "Death boy? Why? Does he get made fun of for being an outcast in a camp full of them?! I have been getting glares and rude comments my entire life! I was kicked out of a school for being disturbing!!" I yell at her.

She looks at me in surprise. Then smiles a little.

"You like this boy don't you?" I slowly nod. She shakes her head.

"Love, such a foolish act," she murmurs. I remember Jason telling me about the hunters. How if they fell in love or made love to a male they were kicked out and they're immortality was taken away.

I sigh. I really do like him though I just don't know how to show or tell him. Then Thalia grins evilly. "Thalia?"

She just smiles and says "I just remembered that we get to play capture the flag tonight." My eyes widen i have heard many campers murmur excitedly about capture the flag this week.

'Uh oh' is the only the only thought I have before the conch horn blows signaling its time for dinner.

After Chiron goes over the rules he pulls me over to the side. "I know the swords you have used wern't balanced like they were supposed to be. So here is this one, your father gave it to me but I wanted to see if this was the right sword for you and since you have tryed every sword at this camp I think this is your best option," he tells me then hands me a black hair clip.

I press the middle of the bow and it tranceforms into a celestial bronze sword. The grip on it fits my hand perfectly. I smile and think Chiron.

I am on the Athena, and Hermes team along with Percy and Nico. Nico stands beside me we guard the flag. The other team consists of the Ares cabin, and the rest of the cabins who are playing.

I hear something in the woods and turn around, Nico pushes me behind him as part of the Ares cabin come out.

They charge at Nico and push him away from me and attach him. they leave me alone though. this makes me angry and I go into fighting mode.

I push the guys off of Nico and fight them with all my power. When they are gone I help Nico stand just as Annabeth and Thalia come running out of the trees.

They cross the river winning the game. Annabeth's eyes widen then when she sees the few guys on the ground and helps me get Nico to the hospital wing.
