There was a rotten man
Searching to steal wealth
Throughout all the whole land

He heard of the king
In need of someone
To fetch his lost bling

The goblin folk high
In the tall mountains
Did the king's treasure pry

The man scaled all
The rough snow bound rocks
Not once did he even fall

Atop and tired
He was ambushed then
A goblin archer fired

Loud he cried
The man
Died

Then in another land
A heavenly herald shown
The angel took his hand

The bright woman spoke
of what was most true
Love of money will choke

The soul might find peace
When he gives up theft
Fate decreed it must cease

From his deep dream trance
Well alive again
He had yet another chance

Many hours now had past
On the frozen cliffs
He drew his dagger fast

He avenged his death
Slaying the goblins
Angrily out of breath

Then he found the gold
Tempted to take all
He knew the angel's scold

He returned the coin
To the king far below
To dinner he did join

The king threw a drunken feast
To praise his new court hero
That he deserved, at least

The young princess flirted
With the strong, brave man
They quietly diverted

To her bedchamber
Revealing all her beauty
He then entered her chamber!

Now what have we learned?
Honestly has perks
More than any gold earned
