Then in a dark tower
She awoke to find him
They spoke most true that hour

The Woman Speaks:
"You are the beast they say!
Can't let me go, can you?
Our love was lost that day

I may have played a part
But the realm is in peril!
The end is worth my heart

An evil left to stew
Can only ever be slain
By big bulky freaks... you!

Sorry you are the cost
Of politics and war
We can't bring back what's lost"

The man waits
Crushed by
Weights

The Man Speaks:
"Angels forbid me steal
You're no prisoner
You may leave as you feel!

Now you are no one's pawn
You are always my queen
The sad past is now gone

But the king was lying
Evil cannot excuse
Some 'love' that ends dying

You of all died inside
The king is the real beast
That he can no more hide

You speak of cost... but I!
I lost nothing but you!
I don't understand why!

The Woman Speaks
It's not the scales you wear
Or royal blood I bear
You are the first to care

I lie to men and play
Too many to have true love
What does it mean anyway?

Do I even know how?
How to truly love you?
I can only hurt now

I'm a burden too big
Too pathetic for you!
No more than a whore pig

And there is an evil
It has hold of us all
Pride, greed, lust primeval"

The Man Speaks:
"What was lost will return
Shadows of your dark past
I will see them all burn"

Sometimes we love our cages
Inside we hide our stories
