Sodapop: He'll make you tell him even though you really don't want to. He'll sit there holding your hand while you tell him. And if you start crying, he'll pull you in and hold you close whispering everything he loves about you in your ear
Steve: He'll take you on a ride in his car so you can tell him. He'll sit there and listen and just like Soda, if you cry he'll pull the car over, get out, pull you out and hold you close.
Dally: He won't really pay much attention to it until you become too quiet or start crying. At this point he'll take you in and hold you close until you forget why you were sad.
Two-Bit: He'll know instantly when you're sad so he'll usually hug you from behind and whisper jokes to you until you laugh so much you forgot what you were sad about.
Darry: He hates to see you sad, he'll make you tell him what's wrong so you can get it out and then he'll do everything he can to make you happy again.
Johnny: He didn't have to do much. Seeing you sad made him sad and you hated seeing him sad and you hated seeing him sad. So you'd usually just cry it out in his arms while he whispered sweet nothings in your ear.
Ponyboy: He'd make you tell him so he can do everything he can just to make you happy. Your favorite thing he'd do is take you outside, holding you close while watching the sunset and he tells you everything he loves about you and the sunset.
