(Rosie's Pov)
"There's gotta be someone out there who can tell me why they've taken my mother." Clary moans. Jace lets out a frustrating sigh, then he realizes. "Actually, there is."

"Alright then, what are we waiting for?" Simon pipes up.

"Uh No. The mundane stays."

"If he's not going, I'm not going. We're a package deal." Clary defends Simon.

"There are runes all around this area, your little 'boyfriend' over here will die if he even comes near them."

"We're not", "I'm not.." Both Clary and Simon says simultaneously.

"I'm not her boyfriend. And besides I can handle runes. Come on man BRING ON THE RUNES." He says weakly.

"Don't worry Clary i'll take good care of him." Isabelle cuts in.

"And don't bother with my brother's manners, his name is Alec and I'm Isabelle." She leaves her hand out for him to kiss, but he awkwardly shakes it. "Lewis. Simon Lewis, oh look at that 2 first names and am I still talking?" He rambles on as Isabelle giggles at nerdy Simon.

"See best friend in good hands." Jace motions Clary into the training room.

"Are you coming Rosie?" Clary asked.

"No... It's your mother, you talk to him." I say back.

She comes towards me with a confused face. "You mean... Our mother?" She corrects.

I'm gonna have to tell her anyway.

I take a deep breath and I hold her hand. "Clary... We're not sisters." I wait for her reaction, but she couldn't get anything out. "I mean, in every single way you basically are my little sister, but by blood... technically we're not related."

"And I know there is a lot you need to learn, and I promise you one day you'll understand, but just remember your mother risked her life for you for a reason."

She understandingly nods and she goes on with Jace.

Isabelle and Simon are long gone. So it's just me and Alec.

"So I guess it's just me and you now." I say while walking towards him, but as soon as I get near him he starts jets.

"Hey, hey, hey." I grab his arm, "Are you just gonna leave me here, where I could easily break any one of these expensive screens." I warn.

"You're bluffing."

"Really? You think so? Okay then." I walk towards one of the screens and I slowly reach to touch.

One millimeter away he stops me. "Okay fine." He rolls his eyes and stands next to me. "What do you want?" He asked grimly.

"Why are you always, so grumpy?" I question.

"What do you mean?"

"You always have some sort of scowl on your face." I say as I try to copy his face.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He streams out.

"Really?" I ask with one eyebrow arched. And he just shrugs, "Okay then." I walk down the few steps to the nearest person and tap them on the shoulder.
