(Alec's Pov)

I softly opened Rosie's bedroom door and walked in.

I hovered over her and I was just a few inches away from waking her up, until I remembered something.

The last time I did this she punched me. Maybe she won't be as violent, now that she doesn't remember anything. Actually nevermind, she probably still do it. So I rest my hand back at my side. I walk over to an empty chair and sit down and I just stare at her.

It's still pretty early, she'll be mad if I wake her up and she still needs some rest, so i'll just wait here for a bit.

I'm still resting my gaze on her tired body. When I first woke her up on the day I met her, she seemed like she was having a pretty bad nightmare, sweat dripping down her forehead, her whole body shivering to then her whole body burning up. I don't know what it was about, but it must have been one hell of a dream.

My eyes then drift up. She has a very beautiful face, I'm not going to lie. I examine her face closely and I see a dark line right under her eye. A scratch the wolf must have given her. It was barely noticeable, but I noticed. I tense at the memory of that horrible night.

Me and Isabelle had a talk yesterday. She was sorry that Rosie had lost her memories, but I told her i'll be fine. She told me that she won't stop trying with me and Rosie. Even though I told her a million times, she just thinks somehow we'll be together.

I can tell Rosie has been through a lot, though. And who knows maybe her forgetting her memories might be a blessing to her. I just can't help, but think how confused she must feel. The loneliness she must have.... It's not easy being a Shadowhunter.

"Staring is rude." A voice suddenly gruffed startling me.

Rosie started moving around and she finally sat up.

"I... I wasn't staring." I grim out.

"Dude, I'm the lightest sleeper ever, I was awake the second you opened the door. You were staring at me for like 5 whole minutes." She revealed and my face starts to burn up, so I just decide to change the topic.

"If you were awake, why didn't you get up?"

"Just because I'm awake, doesn't mean I need to get out of bed."

"Whatever." I breathe out as I sit up from my chair and walk towards the door.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Don't you want me to leave?"

"I never said that... Besides you already woke me up and I can't go back to sleep. So was there a reason why you were in here? Or did you come in here just to stare at me, which is really creepy, by the way, if you did." She said.

"No." I answer first. "I came in here because I think you need to start training."

"Training for what? What am I?" She confusingly asked.

How do I explain this?

"Rose." I pause.

"Alec." She says sarcastically.

"You're very.... special."

"Oh really?" She grins.

"I don't mean it like that, I mean that you have certain abilities, no one else has."

"Okay...." She gestures me to go on.
