"Frosting is the second best invention behind peanut butter and Oreos together." Emily smiled as Vinny said this.
"Amen to that!" She says, getting another spoonful of frosting from the jar she had in front of her.
"What are we watching tonight?" Brooke says, eating some more of the apples with peanut butter that was set out along with the frosting and oreos.
"Chasing Liberty?" Vinny chimes in.
"How about Coyote Ugly? Hot main guy, awesome music, and Tyra Banks." Emily bites into an apple.
"What about John Tucker Must Die?" Vinny asks.
"I say Letters to Juliet." Brooke says.
"Okay. How about Letters to Juliet then John Tucker Must Die then Coyote Ugly then Chasing Liberty?" Vinny decides.
"I agree. Hands in." Emily says putting her hand over the counter. As each of them put their hands in one by one, they smiled and cheered, yelling, "Break!"
One week after graduation, and they were already chilling out so much that nothing could bother them. They were still talking to the guys, but they needed a girls day to just watch movies and pig out on mainly peanut butter filled snacks.
"Ok. Seriously. This guy is so hot." Vinny smirks as she says it looking at the main guy on Letters to Juliet, and taking a big spoonful of peanut butter and scooping it into her mouth.
"One of the cutest actors out there. Plus the accent." Emily smiles and starts giggling.
"You guys want ice cream?" Brooke asks, moving to her freezer to peer in, even though there was a buffet of sweets, fruits, and peanut butter spread out for them in the living room where they were watching the movies.
"Nah, I'm good." Vinny says, snacking on some peanut M&M's.
"What kind?" Emily asks, never wanting to give up a chance to have ice cream.
"Peanut butter panic, what else?" Brooke smiled, pulling out the carton and two spoons.
"Yay! My favorite!" Emily and Brooke smiled as they took the first bite. "You guys wanna do the Color Run with me three months from now?" Emily smiled hopefully, and Vinny and Brooke simply looked at her, thinking about it.
"Maybe. I'd have to see. You know I have a busy schedule." Vinny flips her hair over her shoulder and smiles. "All these non-existent dates." She laughs and goes to grab a spoon after all.
"I swear this ice cream is a gift from God. It's a blessing from the angels." Emily says blissfully. Emily heard her phone ring, and went to answer it.
"'Ello? You've reached the place of pure happiness in ice cream form. This is Emily speaking."
"Emily? This is Liam." Someone said on the other side of the phone, clearly trying to impersonate him.
"Um... No it's not."
"No, No really it is."
"Hi Lucas. How's the other guys?"
"Damn. Really thought I had you that time."
"Maybe you should impersonate him better then." She laughed and went back for the ice cream.
"We're coming to the states. You wanna meet up? I can hook you up with tickets to the concert." He proposes.
"You know you can just come visit, you don't need to bribe me with concert tickets everytime." Emily laughed, and entered the kitchen to grab a water before she went into sugar overload.
"Well that's good, because we're on our way." Luke said as Emily was taking a drink of water, resulting in a spit take.
"What the hell? Lucas Hemmings, you can't just come over. I said we could hang out, not stop by whenever you want. Besides I am not at my house." Emily stated matter of factly.
"I know you're at Brooke's. I talked to Liam. He's here too by the way." She could just tell he was smirking on the other end, and at that moment she wished she was in a cartoon so she could slap him through the phone. "Wipe that fucking smirk off your face." She growled. "Maybe Brooke doesn't want you guys to come over." She stated matter of factly.
"I know for a fact that she does." Ashton chimes in, making sure he's heard.
"Are you all coming over?" Emily asked, sighing. Well there goes girls night. All she heard was silence on the other end, followed by the slamming of van doors, and tour buses coming to a halt in front of the house.
"Brooke! We're being invaded!" Emily shouts, sounding tired. "The guys crashed."
"Tell them they need to leave. My mom would kill me. Besides, it's girls night." She says matter of factly.
"I'll try. Just be prepared, because I have no doubt that they're gonna storm in here." They all heard a knock at the door at that moment, and Emily inched it open.
"Pizza." Luke says, grinning.
"Leave the pizza on the doorstep and walk away." Emily says cautiously, knowing they most likely wouldn't listen. Sure enough, Luke handed off the pizza to Liam and scooped Emily up, throwing her down on the couch as he entered the living room, and laying down on top of her.
"Get off me!" She screamed and started laughing and struggling. "I tried Brooke! Tell everyone I died for the cause." Emily said, still trying to breath.
"Come on Lucas, get off the girl." Vinny laughed and walked into the kitchen where all the guys were already setting up the pizzas. Ashton, Michael, Calum, and Harry had all entered the kitchen about a minute after Liam had.
"You guys aren't gonna like it. We're watching chick flicks. That's it. That's literally all we have." Emily informs them.
"Why?" Luke chimed in, frowning.
"Mainly because it was supposed to be a Girl's Night." Emily says, laughing and sticking her toungue out at him. "One of the last we'll have before I move to Iowa, Brooke heads to New York, and Vinny heads to Texas."
"Hey, that's not for a couple of months, and we're here now. What do you guys say we go to the cinema, and see a movie?" Harry chimes in, smiling.
"We really wanted to stay in, and pig out, actually. You guys are welcome to stay if you can suffer through the girliest films you can think of." Emily smiled, and went back to the living room with her pizza. The guys eventually joined her as they finished Letters to Juliet, but they had eaten in the kitchen to no doubt avoid watching as much of it as they could.
"You guys have a recital tomorrow don't you?" Luke asked Brooke.
"Yeah. Speaking of which, does anyone know what song we're doing first?" Brooke asks Vinny and Emily.
"I think we're doing How to Save a Life first with the guys, then Kids of America with Summer. I can't remember the order of the other two though." Emily says, taking another bite of pizza.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"See you guys tomorrow." Calum says, waving as they leave at about midnight, and Brooke's parents still weren't home yet.
"See ya!" Emily says, waving and smiling.
"Time to go to bed." Brooke says, and they all curl up, popping in one final movie as they fall asleep.
"Tomorrow we dance." Emily says dramatically, as they say goodnight.
