Dimples POV
It's been 3 weeks since my "father" moved back in and he gets on my nerve.
I definitely don't like the way he looks at me.
I got my braces last week and I called Jacob to go with me but he hasn't been picking up the phone for me.
Today I'm going to the Latimore's cook out they invited alot of teen superstars they're going to show a sneak peek of Jacob's video for "Blast Off" (A/N:I wish).
This would be Jacob's first time seeing me with braces because he hasn't been around to even know I got them.
I wore a gray and white striped tank,denim shorts,gray VANS,white pearl earrings,a silver peace sign ring,a silver necklace with a music note pendant and a gray beanie. My hair was down.
I grabbed my phone and started walking to Jacob's house. I called KiKi while I was walking.
KiKi:Hello?
Dimples:Hey KiKi you there yet?
KiKi:Yep but I can't find Chai or Jacob any where
Dimples:Oh well maybe Chai's coming late Jacob's probably walking around greeting everyone. I'll be there in a few
KiKi:Ok but you won't BELIEVE who's here!
Dimples:Um every teen superstar?
KiKi:Well duh but I was talking about a specific boy group
Dimples:Mindless Behavior?
KiKi:YES! I was freaking out! But I decided not to scare them and keep my cool
Dimples:Good idea haha. I'm here.
KiKi:K see ya inside
I hung up and rung the doorbell the door was immediately swung open by the one and only Issa Thompson.
Dimples:Issa!
Issa:Dimples!
We hugged. Me and Issa knew each other because he was like a big brother to me and Jacob when we all were just normal kids then he and Jacob blew up and became BIG. I haven't seen him since he graduated from middle school.
Issa:I see you still not taller than me
He said laughing. I stuck my tongue out at him and smiled.
Issa:And you got braces? Since when?
Dimples:I just got em' last week
Issa:Jake went with you?
Dimples:Naw he was supposed to I guess something came up
I said shrugging it off like it was nothing.
He put his arm around my shoulder and brought me in the house.
Issa:I'm going to introduce you to everyone
I shook my head.
Dimples:You know how shy I am
Issa:Thats why I'm introducing you. You won't have to talk at all
Dimples:Can I find my friend first?
Issa:Sure
He let me go and I ran off to find KiKi.
I found her standing off to the side talking to Alix.
Dimples:KiKi!
She turned around and waved. She said something to Alix before coming over.
KiKi:Hey girl
