Chapters 15-16

Chapter 15- An Uneasy Secret

            Everyone was asleep but me. We were back in the Shining Forest. Tsubasa knew something was wrong with me because he came over and sat beside me. “Something is troubling you I can tell,” said Tsubasa.

            “Bulkan, I felt his power and anger. He knows I’m the shining dragon. He is….,” I said. I hesitated to tell him that he is my brother. I didn’t know what to say to him. “He is what Kakaru,” said Tsubasa. I couldn’t tell him he was my brother but I wanted to get it off my chest.

            “Bulkan is my brother. His real name is not Bulkan. It’s Enari Shindo,” I said. Tsubasa was shocked when I told him that he was my brother. “Bulkan is your bother. Hmm I see why you are so troubled,” said Tsubasa.

            “Eighteen years ago, my parents were taken from me by Bulkan. He killed them right in front of me. I was six when it happened,” I explained to Tsubasa. I almost started to cry when I told him that. Takuya, Yuna and Shana heard me when I told him about my brother. “So is it true, Bulkan is your brother,” asked Takuya.

            I didn’t know how to answer him. I froze when he asked me that. I didn’t know how to tell my friend and the girls. I took a deep breath and finally answered him. “Yes…….he is my brother,” I said with tears in my eyes. Yuna came to me and hugged me. Takuya never saw me cry before. I never cry in front of people. “I’m usually better than this when it comes to talking about this. I’m sorry for this,” I said.

Yuna looked at me and for some odd reason she kissed me. It triggered something inside me when she did. It’s like I felt every feeling that I had go away. “Yuna, why did you kiss me for,” I asked. Yuna looked at me and she looked away for a second. “I just felt the need to do that,” said Yuna. “I have never done that to anyone. You are the first person I have kissed ever,” said Yuna.

I had never kissed a girl like Yuna just did. I had no idea she would do that. We went to the other side of the shrine and talked. I was really shocked when she kissed me. “Yuna, do you love me,” I asked. She looked at me and she didn’t know what to say. “To be honest I think I do Kakaru. I’m just not sure,” said Yuna.

Chapter 16- Memories of Yuna and Selva

            Yuna and I were childhood friends. She was in my hometown when my brother killed parents. That town was Selva. The town was scorch by my brother when I was six. Yuna is the girl from my pass. She was there that day. Takuya and Tsubasa did not know how we were connected until I told them. I needed to tell them the truth. I didn’t know how but I had to.

            “Guys, there is something I have to tell you,” I said. “What is it Kakaru,” asked Takuya. It took me a while to answer but then I finally did. “Remember I told you guys about how my brother killed my parents. Well that part is true. What I didn’t tell you was that Yuna was there too,” I said.

            When I told them that Yuna was there they could not believe what they had just heard. Shana finally said something to us. ”Yuna always talked about you Kakaru,” said Shana. “So you finally talk to us,” said Takuya. Shana was very shy to people she didn’t know. When she did talk it surprised us. I couldn’t believe that she did talk. “You have gotten used to us being with you huh,” said Takuya. I looked at Shana and Yuna and when I did Yuna smiled at me. It was the fist time in a long time that I have seen her smile.

            “It’s been a while since I saw that smile of yours,” I said. “Yeah, I haven’t smiled since I got separated from you,” said Yuna. Takuya cam over with Shana and Tsubasa wanting to know what happened to Selva. It’s hard for me to talk about my hometown because of what my brother did.
