Above picture of Vanessa"Um hello, Margo, hello, hi, are you dead or something." I hear this for like ten minutes straight until I wake up properly. Wow I must have slept for some time I check the car clock and its now ten o'clock.
"What do you want." I say putting mouth on the window I can barely tell who it is and how come this stranger knows my name.
"May you please come out." This person says. I want to say know but I want to know who this person is he/she could help me with my problem. I get out and look up to the person calling me and I suddenly want to get back into the car and drive home. This is because right in front of me is Paul Smith.
There are so many things I want to ask this guy but I only come up with,
"Why...are... you... here."
"I always come here, to clear my head when I've been having a bad day."
"How did you know I was going to be here?" I am so stupid would he really follow me here.
"I didn't, but I know your mum's car." He points at it. "So what are you doing here?"
"I came to buy a bus ticket to New York but they sold out."
"Oh sorry about that."
"Nah it's okay."
"Hey!Why don't I take you with me to New York, I'm going there anyway so why waste your money. When are you leaving?"
"This weekend." I say shocked that the boy who hasn't spoken to me in the last two years is being nice to me.
"Brilliant same time I'm leaving as well."
"Why are you being nice to me?" I ask in curiosity.
"Well it's the least I can do and I just feel so alive today now that I'm done with Zara."
"Um if you don't mind me asking why you Zara broke up, I mean you were Paul and Zara." I look down at my feet.
"That'sthe problem everyone thinks that being popular is all that matters, but it doesn't," he bites his lip and looks around, "I meantheirs so much more than relationships you know, I've lived hertwelve years and I've never come across any one who cares aboutanything that matters you know."
"I'mtrying not to take that personally." I laugh.
"Oh notyou Margo, to tell you the honest truth when I was with you I feltgood about myself I felt free and I haven't felt like that in along time."
I blushand I pray that he doesn't see it.
"Thanks."
"Wellabout Zara and I, apparently low in her many months she has beencheating on me with Troy."
"What, why would she do that, that's just really stupid of both of them.""Ya butshe wasn't my type anyway."
"Oh."
"So it'sgetting late um see you tomorrow, uh no I can't everyone thinkswere dating and people kept on giving you a tough time yesterday, umcan I buy you drink then after school at Tammy's." he says with avery sexy but sly smile.
"Sure."There's an awkward silence.
"So seeyou." He waves.
"Ya seeyou, and thanks again for the ride offer no one else would of donethat." I smile.
"Wellthat's me a diamond in the rough." he laughs. As I walk towardsthe car I think of myself as the luckiest girl in the world, whichother ex-boyfriend would let their ex go on a road trip with him.
