"Welcome to Cali"

Alexis' POV

I pulled up to Drew's apartment. I could hear music blaring and I had the biggest smile on my face. I knocked on the door and it swung open. All I saw next was a chest, he was already hugging me. I dropped my luggage to hug Drew back. "Nice to see ya sis! Welcome to Cali!" I laughed while he helped me carry my stuff inside. It was good that his apartment was on the first floor.

He brought me to my room I would be staying in for the summer, then left to give me time to unpack. My room was small but it was okay I was just happy to finally see him. I heard Drew tell me from the kitchen, "Lex, lets go down to the beach" I grabbed my bathing suit from my bag and met Drew at the door where he had an extra surf board for me.

We walked down this path and reached the beach. It was pretty much empty. There were two boys way to our left wrestling in the sand. I laughed at them but Drew nudged me and kept walking. "What was that for?" I asked. He turned around, took off his shirt, and said "don't look or talk to that kid over there. He's not good news. Got it?" I nodded.

We surfed for 2 hours till we were wiped out. Omg I was tired. Those boys had surfed and they were unbelievable. Drew's being so annoying, he kept trying to impress someone. "Drew, this is no competition." he just smiled but i could tell he was faking it.
