Alexis' POV

We pulled up to the park. So many families were having a picnic on this Saturday afternoon. Including my own parents.

Wes and I walked up to them. "I see you had a nice surprise when you came home." My mother spoke with a slight grin.

Oh I should of known they took part in this.

They saw my face and laughed. "Yes your mother and I helped Wesley out. He called us when you were on the plane ride home. He ran to the plane but he was too late. He called us telling us how he messed up. We both knew from his voice how he really felt. He said he was getting on a plane in the morning and he was gonna be here at 10 am, an hour after you left for the mall. Your mother and I were there when he showed up then came down here to let you two talk and such."

I looked over to Wes to see if this was all true. He just blushed and when he noticed I had approval he made a small cheesy smile. This made me laugh. I wrapped my arms around Wesley, giving him a hug. My thoughts changed towards him within hours, it was unbelievable.

Wesley stayed the weekend. It literally was some of the best days of my life. We went to the park, hiking, to the mall, and watched some movies. Tonight was the last night he was staying with us before he left to go back to Cali.

We were going to meet up with some of my friends.

As we pulled up to Mark Collins house I could tell Wes was nervous.

"Wes their going to love you. Calm down"

He chuckled bit I could tell he was still nervous.

As we both got out of the car we walked up to the door with our hands held. I knocked on the door. Mrs. Collins answered and she greeted me with a hug. "Alexis I didn't expect you to be here. Wow what a surprise. We've missed you all summer. Their all down stairs watching the end of a movie."

As I walked in Wes came into view. I introduced him and he smiled and went on shake hands. Per usual mrs. Collins gave him a hug and we left to go to the basement.

Before we opened the basement door Wes asked me if this was like Cali basements get togethers. I laughed at him. "No! To your loss no one is smoking down there." He grinned at me giving me a tad shove.

As I opened the door and started down the steps my stomach rolled over with excitement. We made our way to the bottom of the stairs. The basement was set up where a small room was right off he stairs and you had to turn a corner to get to the couches and tv.

We turned the corner and Wes squeezed my hand. No one had noticed we came into the room. "Hey guys." I spoke. All heads turned. Before I could react all five of my friends came running towards me. I let go of Wesley's hand to give my friends all hugs. Ashley came to me first, giving me a tight hug and screeching a little with excitement. Then jake who's muscles wrapped around me. Then mark, then kaitlyn, and lastly Tyler.

Wesley's POV

All lex's friends were so excited to see her and it made me laugh a little. The first one Ashley was a small, thin, brunette with a sweet smile. When she hugged Alexis she whispered, "hot boy ya got there, lex". I laughed slightly. Then came jake who was the biggest here. He looked strong and was a little bit taller than me with brown hair and a small scar on his chin. Mark was averagely built with dirty blond hair. A red hat that allowed the hair to come out. Then Another girl. She had blond hair and blue eyes. She was average height with a nice butt I'm not gonna lie. Lastly Tyler who had an attractive face, light brown hair, and kinda held lex for a little longer than needed. His hand was a little low on her waist as well.

As they made their way back to the couches Alexis started to introduce me. "Guys this is my boyfriend Wesley stromberg." Kaitlyn faced me with a slight surprise and confusion look. Lex saw it aswell. "What?"

"It's just... Idk. The face looked familiar, now the name rings a bell..."

We were all quiet for a moment. Then she spoke again. "Lex what does your necklace say?"

She hesitated but answered her. " The Girl Next Door..."
